I think the relationship you share with your mother-in-law is more dependent on your husband than you. I mean to say the impact is more based on the reaction from your husband than DIL's reaction. So, if there is no much change after marriage in communication & behavior of Son...MIL are happy and all goes cool...be it the coolest mom or typical sasuma

So instead of asking for which type of MIL you would prefer...you should think what type of Husband you are looking for...

a Lil Bit disagree here..I Think It Depends On MIL Also..U Know Smetimes Mother Can't accept The Changes In His Son's Life..No Matter How hardly Son & DIL Try To Make Her Happy..That Insecurity Doesn't Let Her To behave Normally..It's Just a Self Build-up In Her..It's Just Because Of Her Own Possessivness She Can't see The Goodness Of Her Son and DIL..Which Is exactly Ishwari Ji Doing.

No Matter How Hard Sona Trying To Keep Her Happy,No Matter How Dev Love Her Madly She Is Still Insecure..And It's really Tough To Deal with.
