I would love nothing better. A stern Sona would be awesome. However, she should direct it to the people deserving it like Vicki/GKB or even Ishwari if need be, rather than at Dev. Unloading on Dev would be like kicking a puppy. Not much he can do regarding GKB/Ishwari.

To do this she should distance herself from Dev's family drama and be a professional. Its better in the long run for her to just get on with her career, but I am desperate to see Sona put GKB in place at least once before she leaves (temporarily) the Dixit household.

Please...pretty please😉😉😉

Hi Guys,

I agree with all that episode #100 was one of the best epidoes of KRPKAB. And we got answers to all our questions. It was a small glimpse of what is yet to come and eagerly waiting for it...

By now we all agree that the USP of this show is - how we all can relate to it, at some point in life each one of us have gone through similar situations and / or emotions that are shown and thats what makes us fall in love with this show. And of course the sizzling chemistry between Shaheer and Erica and all other actors who fit the characters perfectly.

But this episode did leave me with a few questions

1. Did not understand why Sona apologised to Dev?
Well it was Dev who got upset and left Sona sitting at the cafe. Ofcourse the Kiss on the forehead was beautiful and looked so natural. I liked the fact that the next day morning, Dev tried making an attempt to call her but I guess his ego stopped him. Love it that CVs show such minute details which we all can relate to. I'm sure like Dev we all have hesitated to make that 1st call thanks to our egos :)
So if there was an apology, it should have been from both sides. I did question myself whether am I being a feminist but I guess in the initial stages of a relation, minimal ego sab mein rehta hai na????

2. Is Sona's personality being sidetracked?
While Dev and Ishwari are strong and complex characters, played by the very experienced Supriya Pilgaonkar and Shaheer Sheikh, Erica has made Sona her own. And that is why we are so fond of Sona. In the initial episodes, loved Sona for her strong personality - be it standing up to Mr. Obhodhro's behaviour, her fights with him, she did her bit to get back at him or trouble him in her own way, she's been independent, stubborn and strong headed.

After DevAkshi relationship, Sona has also been shown as the more mature and understanding person between the two. But there is a differennce between being understanding and maintaining your self respect. Sona is a 2016 woman and let me add working woman. When will Sona realise that probably she should now not mix work and personal life? As a woman, doesn't Sona realise that Ishwari's sudden change in behaviour is nothing but insecurities of a mother? And doesnt that make Sona insecure abut her relation with Dev?

I just hope Sona's character does not unintentionally get changed to a timid sort or that of a sacrificial lamb. I remember at the launch of the show, Erica said that Sona is stubborn and will fight for her love. I want to see that aggression in Sona too. Though Erica needs to work on her Hindi language and grammar skills...Erica portrays aggression and romance beautifully. Sona's fights with Dev during Holi, Dream sequence in Dev's garden. Erica's expressions were at par with that of Shaheer's. So I hope we get to see more of that.

I love the show for its 3 main strong characters Ishwari - Dev - Sonakshi. Like Sharica said in 1 of their interviews that offscreen - Supriya, Shaheer and Erica are like a Trio. Hope that continues in the story too.

3. Doesn't Sonakshi have flaws?

We have seen that Ishwari is possessive and insecure when it comes to Dev. Dev is shown as a "difficult man to deal with" especially thanks to his backstory and his complex situations with his mother and sister(s). Dev is kind of a controlling person. But what about Sonakshi??? Since she potrays "the girl next door", I'm sure she has her flaws too. Isnt she insecure of her relation with Dev especially after seeing the change in Ishwari's behaviour?

So in Dev's words "CVs I trust you" :) You'll have set the bar high and will need to live upto it.

Ps. This is in not a complain. I am so hooked to the show that I watch the daily episode atleast 2-3 times and feel so connected to it and thus all these questions or rather expectations from it.

Well written (original post and responses) :)

Somehow after watching yesterday's episode I ended up feeling bad for Sona being caught in the midst of this complex Dixit family dynamic. Strangely enough I did not get that feeling because of that scene with Ishwari because that one actually made sense. She does not know they are in a relationship so she can feel emotional about her son not eating something she knows he loves and which she made with a lot of effort. My mother is that way too, she makes stuff that is unhealthy but will obviously be hurt if we avoid it completely.

I felt bad for Sona after her cafe date with Dev actually. The vibes from the scene indicate a relationship driven by him - when to get into it, when to make it public (even when it seemed to mean a lot to her to go public but he dismissed it rather casually), when to stay apart with little room for her to influence any major milestone. Even all the love that he showers on her somehow could not banish that feeling..

I really liked this line in another thread ...Sona needs to move out of Dixit house, needs to stop roaming the house looking for someone to heal...Her value in his life is not on account of her ability interfere and help him resolve his family issues. I so want her to have a life of her own..Post the accident phase, that aspect diminished on the show, everything about Sona became about Sona-Dev whereas there are many things about Dev on the show that have nothing to do with Sona..

Sona has been softened a lot but I don't think she has been shown to be aggressive anytime😊.. Yes she has been a very assertive person 👍🏼whenever needed and that trait has come out mostly with Dev only when he wronged her... With her family members too, she has been showing little upper hand only wherever needed... And from her parents' saying they have always had a good child in her😉... It's only Daada who has been the problem child in the Bose family!!! 😆

With Vicky we can see her giving back and not many instances shown for her to be assertive yet... And that's what makes her clear and neat... If someone rubs her in the wrong way then we can see her that way... She's confident in her own skin thus she needn't throw her tantrum every now and then to show that her self-respect is well kept or her values are boasted about every now and then.. It's for the others to know and feel when we are with her...

I would love to see Sona behaving mature as per her characterization... Maturity doesn't mean to do/say big big things.. It's more of understanding the small things... That's what her character all about... If she has to sense something where she doesn't require to speak she should stay silent.. Especially to the family matters inside the Dixit house!!! She doing some things at times for Dev is different. But she has to know to draw the line for herself or else she'll only end up poking her nose into everything in that house calling upon disrespect for herself...

And Radharani.. She's a character who may be important to Ishwari... But not to Sona.. And Sona needn't even be bothered or affected by her presence giving any importance that she doesn't deserve to have... To me Radharani is just a chatter box who says anything and everything anywhere and everywhere... No manners or values of her own.. And treating her well is kind of Dixit's way of gratefulness... Sona has nothing to do with her... If she acknowledges that Radharani is someone important to them, that's it... That's more than what Sona can do with her... Ignoring her is the only reaction I would like Sona doing... Radharani being rude and mean only reveals her character and what she is... Sona needn't give back to reveal something which she is not... If we see, Radharani does everything she could to annoy the members of Dixit family and everyone prefers to ignore her... That's where their smartness lies!!!😉

And I really want Sona going open about her relationship with her family whether Dev accepts to it or not... She has her own support system which she values the most and I wouldn't want her to push it down for any reason... She can be a chocolate to Dev 😳 whom he doesn't want to share with anyone in his family but he has to share her with her family definitely... 😉

Bang on! Sonakshi's character is losing import. She doesn't seem to have a life apart from the one revolving around Dev. I want to see something happening in her life as well. Something she'd handle maturedly. This gives enough import to characters. True, post the accident, everything regarding Sona's individuality went down. I hope she gets outta this kjob and becomes a full time nutritionist somewhere else..
