Hi Guys,

I agree with all that episode #100 was one of the best epidoes of KRPKAB. And we got answers to all our questions. It was a small glimpse of what is yet to come and eagerly waiting for it...

By now we all agree that the USP of this show is - how we all can relate to it, at some point in life each one of us have gone through similar situations and / or emotions that are shown and thats what makes us fall in love with this show. And of course the sizzling chemistry between Shaheer and Erica and all other actors who fit the characters perfectly.

But this episode did leave me with a few questions

1. Did not understand why Sona apologised to Dev?

Well it was Dev who got upset and left Sona sitting at the cafe. Ofcourse the Kiss on the forehead was beautiful and looked so natural. I liked the fact that the next day morning, Dev tried making an attempt to call her but I guess his ego stopped him. Love it that CVs show such minute details which we all can relate to. I'm sure like Dev we all have hesitated to make that 1st call thanks to our egos :)

So if there was an apology, it should have been from both sides. I did question myself whether am I being a feminist but I guess in the initial stages of a relation, minimal ego sab mein rehta hai na????

2. Is Sona's personality being sidetracked?

While Dev and Ishwari are strong and complex characters, played by the very experienced Supriya Pilgaonkar and Shaheer Sheikh, Erica has made Sona her own. And that is why we are so fond of Sona. In the initial episodes, loved Sona for her strong personality - be it standing up to Mr. Obhodhro's behaviour, her fights with him, she did her bit to get back at him or trouble him in her own way, she's been independent, stubborn and strong headed.

After DevAkshi relationship, Sona has also been shown as the more mature and understanding person between the two. But there is a differennce between being understanding and maintaining your self respect. Sona is a 2016 woman and let me add working woman. When will Sona realise that probably she should now not mix work and personal life? As a woman, doesn't Sona realise that Ishwari's sudden change in behaviour is nothing but insecurities of a mother? And doesnt that make Sona insecure abut her relation with Dev?

I just hope Sona's character does not unintentionally get changed to a timid sort or that of a sacrificial lamb. I remember at the launch of the show, Erica said that Sona is stubborn and will fight for her love. I want to see that aggression in Sona too. Though Erica needs to work on her Hindi language and grammar skills...Erica portrays aggression and romance beautifully. Sona's fights with Dev during Holi, Dream sequence in Dev's garden. Erica's expressions were at par with that of Shaheer's. So I hope we get to see more of that.

I love the show for its 3 main strong characters Ishwari - Dev - Sonakshi. Like Sharica said in 1 of their interviews that offscreen - Supriya, Shaheer and Erica are like a Trio. Hope that continues in the story too.

3. Doesn't Sonakshi have flaws?

We have seen that Ishwari is possessive and insecure when it comes to Dev. Dev is shown as a "difficult man to deal with" especially thanks to his backstory and his complex situations with his mother and sister(s). Dev is kind of a controlling person. But what about Sonakshi??? Since she potrays "the girl next door", I'm sure she has her flaws too. Isnt she insecure of her relation with Dev especially after seeing the change in Ishwari's behaviour?

So in Dev's words "CVs I trust you" :) You'll have set the bar high and will need to live upto it.

Ps. This is in not a complain. I am so hooked to the show that I watch the daily episode atleast 2-3 times and feel so connected to it and thus all these questions or rather expectations from it.

Great post...and loved the way u questioned and tried to answer by yourself which I keep doing when I see every episode of Krpkab.

My pov on ur pointers

1. She has always started every argument of hers with a sorry.. Most of the times this mellows down the opponent.. Gives the arguer to present the pov in their pace..so she might have chosen her winning route which again worked beautifully

2. Sona s not aggressive in front if hernear and dear..so it's obvious she ll never go back to that tashan mode with dev.but she was back into her stern self when she pointed dev was right...it was a pleasure to see the I m my boss wala dev back after ages..

3. I agree with ur last point of she becoming insecure of hr future with Ishwari aunty turning hostile

. Given the sonakshi she s she ll openly discuss with dev shortly..she follows her heart and all he does s decide based on what head says!

They both have crossed the first phase of courtship where there s nothing but mutual admiration.. Now comes the testing phase..where the fallacies come in sight too..agree to disagree was beautiful.hope they stay.like this

Brilliant dialogues!

Great actors who are not too much not too less..

Amazing naturalnes..be it sonakshi s love in hr eye feeling, neha s longing for comfort, ranver and his righteousness, ria nikki and pink phone, Ishwari aunty and her beta prem and lastly dev and his private property Wla logic..

Lovv d show..lo mera essay poora hua!

Agree with you flat_everest.

I guess what I was trying to say is amongst all that is happening, Sona should not loose her identity and individuality.

agreed.. all the three protogonists are fighters.. lets see how much we will have to fight with ourselves to love them or dislike them( which i can never do in my worst dreams as well..) all are perfectly flawed!😉

Sona needed to apologize as she was being judgmental about Dev's incident with Ranveer without listening to or trying to understand Dev's point of view. She was also a bit territorial (she may have the right to be) in asking him why he didnt discuss that with her first, like he should get it ratified first by Sona to deal with his own sister's family.

Thats almost overstepping the bounds. Even if they were married, couples discuss things that involve both. For things involving each others families each should should have enough room/ independence to make their own choices good or bad. In this instance a partner should try and support but interfere as little as possible. This is one fact every couple should understand.

On the 2nd point regarding maturity and understanding. Both Dev and Sona are matured and understanding. Sona however understands some things better such as the importance of sharing while Dev understands the difficulties involved in maintaining relationships (Remember, banane me kayi saal lagte hain?). They each compliment each other. We all fail to realise that Sona can be a hot potato. Itts Dev who helps her understand that sometimes one has to be a bit of a doormat 😃 to keep things less volatile. Else Sona would have exploded at GKB a million years ago...

One thing I want badly is Sona to leave the job immediately.Especially the way Ishwari spoke in yest epi.Ishwari reacted as if Sona said to Dev.That his mom his a bad cook,she cook unhealthy food etc.,

In the main track I don't want Sona to be a sacrificial lamb who compromise on her self respect.Hold on to man.Who cannot take stand for their relation n her.

fortunately sonakshi doesnt have a family that is full of complex emotions like dev has.. she ll take time to come out of her comfort zone to understand what kind of emotional baggage the dixt 's (atleast dev ishwari and neha ) have.. but she has and is trying to make all the efforts to accomodate..

voila! she was so hot on the day when she kept on harping i see black as black and white as white during GKB chori (jus before accident).. thats time too dev pacified her.

get dem married yar! it will be fun to watch..

Self respect does not lie in rebelling against everything that happens against ones wishes. Sona's self respect lies in the fact that she knows when to rebel, when to speak, when to compromise and when to keep quiet.

Regular people do not have glaring flaws that are really noticeable. Sona is a regular sort of a girl.

Exactly! But I think as the initial promos go, she'll leave the job, and I think we see more of the stern Sona again, excited!! So don't worry about it, it'll be fine😃
