Hi Everyone đ¤
I have been following this show and the forum from the beginning but never got down to make a post. Honestly, after the proposal, it has been getting a bit too sweet for my taste đ but nevertheless I have been enjoying every bit of it on screen đ And today, I had to come here to just say that I loved the scene where Sona puts Dev to sleep by talking to him on the phone đł It was done very beautifully and yet conveyed the strong message of how Sona is slowly but surely replacing Iswari in Dev's life. Well, if not replacing, at least taking an equal position!
Otherwise, I don't get it why Dev has been hiding the relationship so fiercely from his mother when they are so close. She is very justified in expecting her son to share everything with her first. It would have been all right if he had kept it to himself initially but then he has still not expressed any intention of revealing it to her anytime soon! Also, practically, there is no reason for Iswari to dislike Sona; in fact, she acknowledges her goodness and has repeatedly been shown to consider her as a member of the family. Hence, Dev's hiding his affair is going to be the only reason why Iswari will feel threatened by Sona's presence is his life. This in itself doesn't make for a very strong premise since how long can a loving parent resist a son's happiness only for her sense of power over him! However, I think the projections and writing are good in the show - so, hopefully, the audience will be able to relate to the situation and enjoy it without feeling that things are getting dragged. I love the nuances they depict and hope to see more of them in the coming episodes.
Happy viewing then to everyone and keep making the beautiful posts! đ
