Why couldn't sona just shut up for a bit a stay in the room. Would it have killed her?? How was she planning to explain her being locked??

The whole scene appeared to be fabricated. Very poor scripting.

The reason is simple. The CVs have become lazy.

So in one scene Ishwari will see them together ,next episode there will be a breakup followed by patch and in 4th episode they will be married..Story ends there ...why we need so many episodes 😆😆...

There is almost no reason for anyone else to come to Devs room when Dev himself was down below. Even Nikki didnt come for reasons known only to god when she had a perfectly good reason to just go to his room for the coins even if they actually may not be there as thats the first place she was supposed to go. She conveniently (or inconveniently as the case may be) finds them somewhere else. How plausible is that?

Even if found Sona can always claim that she has been yelling but no one seemed to have heard her in all the noise.

This kind of scripting is what you find in just about every other TV show. I expected better from KRPKAB is what I am saying.
