The brother who is..

I wonder who liked the brother.. Dev.. who was all distracted during his sister's wedding ' I mean it's okay to have some romantic moments in between... but during important rituals of sister's wedding.. sister for whom the brother has always been so sensitive.. why such behaviour.. I can't relate to this character who is in dreamland since his realisation... I guess sisters wedding was so important for him... he would sit thinking about or worrying about her.. at least during pre wedding days.. but all I saw was his overly displayed romance and negligence towards reality.

Dev has been a bottled up person for years, bearing the burden of his family. he did not have any one for himself. now that he has found that person, he is behaving only naturally.. i do not think that he was distracted. When a bottled up person opens out suddenly, one can expect the unexpected. it is not that he does not love his sister. He showed emotions too and they were natural.

He is excited as he is literally living the dream, being in love with a super girl like Sona who does not put any pressure on him and who is so supportive to the extent of even being sacrificial. he has to do the balancing act.

I think he is a great brother and will be a great brother.

That's kind of what ishwari also asked when she saw Dev with Sona at sangeet night,and dev answered he did all his jobs with out fail. Being with his love doesn't necessarily mean he is neglecting other important works. He just saves some time to be with Sona.

I have not watched the episode yet.. But going by the WU, I felt, It is understandable him being stressed out and distracted knowing the fact that Sona was locked in his bedroom.
But, during the rituals? Not okay!!
There is no doubt in my mind that Dev is a great brother. He has become lill careless(being in love does not mean to get distracted by your gf during your sisters wedding, especially when you are performing Kanyadaan) and this will pave way for Ishwari's change of behavior towards Sona
I can totally see Ishwari's insecurities skyrocketing :)
I'm also aware of the fact why Dev was shown careless and smitten by Sona during the rituals.. Ofcourse to grab Ishwari's attention 😆

P. S. I know most will defend it by saying he is in love, he deserves this and all. but I really don't think even if a person like Dev falls in love will not behave suddenly like this way. No offense.

I don' t remember any scenes where Ishwari or anyone else is complaining about lack of something in marriage.

Yes he was chilling, relaxing and doing little bit romance .. So what? is it big deal.? I don't think. Dev is a human and not a robot.

Honestly speaking with personal experience - Not only bride and groom , but during marriage function, the entire atmosphere is generally so romantic that most of the couple( married or ..😉) do CHICHKO 😆.
And one more thing - When I was getting married - my dad was first person who after assigning all duties to everyone , went to sleep. Because he loves his sleep no matter what 😆


Secondly I don't understand this logic- Ladki ki shaadi hai then ladki wale tension mein hona chaiye- Why ? Just why ? When we will understand that girl's marriage is not burden? When we will change our mentality ?

Yes yesterday during marriage rituals - he was worried because Sona was locked in his room and that is reason he was so distracted. But I am fine with it because they showed with logic

Well, yes suffice to say, he was slightly distracted but not to the extent that he neglected his duties towards his sister. oh no, not that at all!

Initially he was distracted bcoz Sona needed his help n he was unable to do it. Still instead of rushing to unlock the door, he stayed n completed his duties.
