Is nutritionist a Doctor ?

As per my understanding nutritionist cannot be referred as Doctors as they don't have MBBS degree , they can be addressed as Doctors if they have PHD. Does that mean Sona has PHD ?

Probably a PhD Dr. ... nutritionists don't have MBBS/MD.. but then even then they don't usually stay in a client's house and work on one patient only..😆

No I do think she is just a Nutritionst not as in Doctor ...

I thought she was a Physician Nutrition Specialist (PNS ) because she was shown as a doctor at a hospital dealing with ppl who was suffering from diabetics, providing diet plan for to be mothers and at the same time coordinating nutrition services for the hospital.

Thats a really good doubt.It never occured to me but yeah even i don't think that nutritionists are doctors.

Bds.. dental
Bpt physiotherapy they are doctors
Bhs bach of home science / homeo pathy .. they are r referred as doctors.
Bsc dietician,nutrition etc they too can be refereed as doctors / specialist/ therapist etc.

Hope this clarifies..
