Naw babe look at how popular you be!

I have been reading the replies and I agree with you and Purva. The term barbi-ish is almost too perfect to this situation! Or maybe we are just stone hearted people who internally (as externally) cringe with efforts of romance with "main tumaari hoon" etc etc! I think Zindagi Gulzar Hai had beautiful romantic moments and never made me cringe and go "W*F no".. Just an example of a non-English show some well

Also I think your username is lovleh babe! Where I live, it's an expensive and elite brand of Jewellery, so not so much box of trouble 😉

Aww --- thanks ---- wasn't my intention to ruffle few feathers ---- but who knew expressing an opinion can ruffle so many feathers at once --- *Adjusting my crown* --- lol-- *😆*
I am sure even the fans of *Mills and Boons* will cringe at such dialogues -----lol -- !!!

Own a Pandora bracelet -- ? Been seeing a lot of them lately --- Though I don't mind *Box of trouble* if it's troubling few to fall asleep at the cost of my thread ---- *😆*

i respect ur pov but i beg to differ...their story is fine according to me...there's a reason why i like realistic couples more such as Devakshi(Krpkab), Nesam(manmarziyaan), etc. hence i can relate more to them...

glad o know your points.
I too am more of a eye kind of romance person. But sometimes words had to be spoken. Its a necessity in every relationship especially at early stage of it. At that time people tend to get more vocal which changes entirely to a see n feel kind of relation, but that does take time, isn't it. And you have to give credit to the dialogue writer for not throwing random words but words with meaning, things which define real scenario. Agree "you complete me" was more of a philosophical touch but once in a while that's ok. Like you said promo showed pain through eyes, but that was after this current phase, when they knew each other inside out. Hopefully what you are looking you will get after a week or so.

A week or two old relation can't be expected to give 50 or 60 yr old couple feel. Give some time n you would definitely see the mature relationship of Devakshi you want to see onscreen. Its too early to expect them to behave like that.

I have been on IF for so many years now. Never I saw so much hostility for a simple opinion expressed about a show. Do people realize that this is a discussion forum and not a fan club where there will be praises and only praises showered?

Everyone has a right to watch whichever show they want and express themselves if they don't like something about that show. No one has a right to tell anyone to stop watching a show or watch any other show instead just because they don't like to hear what other person is saying.. that's not how IF works 😕

What makes me laugh is people thanking TM for forum activity as if they have a sole ownership of this forum... 😆😆 so much respect of other person's POV 👎🏼

You did not visit Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon - 1 Forum while it was active- you would know this thread is a trailer/promo of that sweety. Before this thread I say this forum was boring - I never commented much. Just put likes. This thread balances the forum 😆 Folks got used to everyone agreeing to the one view forum. With this different view which is right and wrong at the same time its causing serious debate thats all.

Couldn't agree more. And I believe the reason for our disinterestedness is the rushing storyline, which has become more like a fairy tale like. It reminds me of all the Barbie movies!!!! Too much of anything is bad, and here I'm referring to sudden exaggerated romance between Dev and Sonakshi, who seem to have no other work, or worries to hold them back, and this is getting very unrealistic. I mean which business man would have so much time to romance around in the home, especially someone, who have earned all his success with so much of hardship; and which nutritionist, who had also built up her career with hard work and earned a reputation, would toss it so easily. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that a business man,and a renowned nutritionist cannot have a love-life; they are humans and would experience all human emotions like us. But love would not become their priority, as there are other things which surrounds their lives. Dev, let just assume, can afford to be his own boss and choose to work from home; but Sonakshi cannot afford day-dreaming about her love story all the time, because she, as a personal nutritionist must have a contract, which might end soon. And then what? Or she being paid a high salary by Dev Dixit, is ready to jeopardize her career. I'm saying this because she's well aware what her job means to her, and the fact too that, Dev's family might not accept her as their daughter -in-law. What so ever, things are not falling in right place; although it's a fiction, the drama started well with a balance in real life situations and little bit of imagination. And to add more to all these, there is Dev's mother, who, in the beginning, was portrayed as a woman of principles and strong personality, who is willing to do anything for the happiness of her children, has suddenly fallen weak in characterization. Now every word of Maami against Dev and Sonakshi, affects Dev's mother; she seems to easily manipulated. And the question is if the feeling of sharing her son with another woman is so heart breaking, why she didn't have any objections towards Dev and Natasha's relationship? Was it because Natasha belonged to the same social status, and Sonakshi doesn't? Or was it because Dev was open to his mother about every step he took towards Natasha, and now he's hiding things from her? These questions remain unanswered. The CVs of KRPKAB must be careful, because the characters are falling weak, and the story is filled with unrealistic romance. The story was about the different types of love and it's strings attached to relationships, and it was very obvious that someone who, came in between the love of a mother and son, would threaten the relationship. So,I believe we all knew that, at certain point of the story, the mother would turn possessive about her son, and it would be hard to fit in; at some point the woman in Dev's life, his love, would have to really earn love and respect in Dev's mother's heart. But I never expected this twist to arise because of Maamis brainwashing to Dev's mother.Besides, the whole part where a rich girl walks into Dev's life and gets a special treatment in Dixit household, whereas, a simple and educated and independent girl, equally beautiful, is finding hard to get acceptance in Dev's family, doesn't make sense. So yes, the present track in the drama is bit boring; filled with either bitter words(of Maamiji), or sugarcoated romance whereby Dev and Sonakshi.

The BOLD You wrote what was in my mind thankyou! May be a few words differ here and there.
The present track is imbalanced. Before the confession there was balance.

From just one shot of his face we could see that returning pen is just a bahana.. he is there because he is missing her badly and needs to see her. For me his silence speaks thousand words which "you compete me" fails to do. Now in that promo put lines like "my life feels so empty without you" and it becomes cheesy for me😭😕Hope I"m making sense here😊

oops, I replied elsewhere to your post. 😊 But nevertheless good to know your point of view.
