For the story to progress, its important that her character remains strong and she always stand by Dev in all ups and downs.. Which I m sure CV' s will show... This is the beauty of their relationship that they will be there for each no matter what and the real story will start after Devakshi marriage when they both will help Ishwari to come out of her insecurities and will show her journey from a mother to MIL...

Yes, that's true. One of the most difficult tasks would be to get Ishwari to agree to the marriage wholeheartedly and not just for Dev's happiness

Very rightly said.. that's the essence of the show.. that Ishwari's insecurities are, at the end of the day, somewhat childish.. no mother wants her child to be unhappy.. and Ishwari's insecurities about losing her son to her DIL is ultimately gonna make her son heartbroken.. every MIL fears that her son will stop giving her importance once he's married but none of them want their sons to remain unmarried.. in Ishwari's case, her fear of losing her son is so high that she is ready to have her son remain unmarried all his life so that she doesn't have to share him, which is after all a very childish notion and is dealt so beautifully so far.. hoping it continues

I thought whatever happens iswari always want devs happiness even when she is hurt (in natasha matter)

But today's episode showed her true colors her insecurities 😡 she is really too munch

Dev has not forgotten anything and not gave less importance to her ...he done all wat she likes but today he just thought to surprise her its his genuine wish
But iswari only values her ego and insecurity

Ishwari needs to understand that everybody needs a life partner with whom he or she can share all their sorrows and happiness.
She herself cherishes the time she has spent with her husband.. so how can she think of Dev living that life.

She has to realise that and let Dev enjoy his lyf.. getting a wife doesn't mean he will forget her.. here somewhere i feel she herself don't trust Dev nd that is the reason she is insecure.

Ishwari is not used any change with respect to her Son Dev, she does not care about Neha's changes rather any of her daughter's changes. But Dev her bond with him is as precious as buying gold for a girl today or an expensive dress.
Her reaction keeping her biases and insecurities in mind is legitimate. Just like Neha's reaction is legitimate.

She does not care what gift Dev buys for her, her issue the time spent. She herself said that, the dialogue when the daughters gifted her something is very important - Dev does not know the essence of Ishwari's expectations.

We all may not agree with Ishwari's reaction since we are not going through what she is going through.

I agree with you POV..I understand that she wanted to spent time with Dev rather than buying a saree. It woul have been good if she would have wore the saree nd should have spoken to Dev abt this.
This is the first time Dev did something that she did not expected. Her expressions fot the first change were too dangerous...CV's knows what is there in the future.
My point that she has always had expectations from Dev nd never thought of what he expects. She didn't even tried to understand Dev's point today.

i think both are right at their side..
We should not forget Ishwari and Dev's bond... its there before Dev and Sona..

I think Ishwari is right too.. every year she waits for this moments that he takes time off for her mom and takes her to shopping.. that time is only between two of them... she knows that how busy Dev is but he gives her special time during her birthday and she enjoys that.. This year Dev changed this habit .. did something different... now from her POV, how will she accept that... she didnt even get that time with her son.. someone else took .. how will she likes that.. my POV she is right.. 😊

Dev is right too
because he wants to involve Sona choosing saree for his mom..he wants to involve Sona in his every imp decisions and actions... But he is forgetting that how possessive his mom for him.. may for him its not big thing that he change the tradition of taking his mom for shopping and spending time with her... but from Ishwari's POV its very big thing and she was upset because someone else took her time with Dev..
how will you think if you are eagrly waiting for very nice present from your parents that you know and you get something else.. or in some other format not that you are expecting... you will feel bad na? samething yaar...
.. its not over reaction... 😊

she will be fine... it will take sometime for her to accept

The same way even Dev does not know what his mom really wants. There is an unknown communication GAP between both of them which they themselves do not know.
Dev solves his issues with materialistic POV, Ishwari with emotions which are non tangible.
Her heavy insecurity played a role here. Dev does not know what his mother is going through.

She actually does not care what even Dev wants (with Natasha it was a serious coincidence) she just wants herself to be the center of his attention, not materialistically, which Dev does not know.
Another factor to consider is Dev being a male does not understand what a woman of Ishwari's background goes through.

I got your point, plus I understood the scene, but I dont know how to word it right now.
By tomorrow we can find another analysis post to explain better what and why it happened.

All I can say is both are right keeping their character in mind. Dev and Ishwari were not wrong in what they did.

so agree with you..

We need to understand her situation too..

she was eagerly waiting for this moment on her birthday that her son spends special time with her on her birthday.. and that didnt happen..
