guys, I was watching yesterday's episode for the umpteenth time and couldn't stop myself from singing its praises again. A day later and it still has the affect of making one breathless. Amazing! So bear with me, this might get a bit long, but I hope u will re-live the episode through this.
first of, the episode starts with dev's beautiful words and unconditional love. He loves her inside out.
he loves her eyes because of the spark when she speaks to someone,
he loves her lips because they emit beautiful and understanding words. now this was something!!...I don't recall any hero ever saying this. and its significant too because it was initially his words that made him open up to her.
he has noticed her earrings but when she looked down shyly...he has started to love this new shyness of hers. Again, this will always be a favourite to me...uff!!!!. and I agree there is nothing more beautiful than a woman smiling shyly.
their meeting and falling in love with each other is the most important and beautiful thing in his life.
at this point sona stops him...probably taken aback by the intensity of his love. she loved him even before he did, but had got only heartbreak in return. so obviously she can't believe that he actually loves him so much. I actually thought she would say...don't do this mr. dixit ...don't love me so much. but well...her words had this implicit meaning.
what she didn't say dev made up for. his expressions immediately change to one of panic and hurt knowing he caused her this pain. so he says not to give him s much power over her. but obviously he already does as sona says.
the next part is a musical, and with that beautiful BG music sounded ethereal. sona was bold today not only with her words but also inaction. she teases him...pushes his on the bed and slides her dupatta over his face knowing he will be lost. and naughtily smiles at him. dev comes behind her and hugs her...again beautifully done. sona again teasing...traces his face with her hands, knowing the effect on him. and rightly so...look at his face he looks like in heaven.
sona walks away but he pulls her to him and dances two step with her. sona follows...again a future hint. my best part..when he lovingly touches her hair that part with the music was ...I don't know am at a loss for words.
they go to opposite sides of the room...and stare. sona then goes down. if u look at her expressions it is very apt..she can't believe it is happening to her and is bubbling with happiness. near the glass she also has the same expressions until dev comes. they join their hands and then the look she gives...mar dala mar dala!!...they move their hands also in sync. finally the garden scene. what I love about whole sequence was no words needed..just eyes, smiles and touches here and there. the personal krpkab music added char chand to it.
and what amazes me...no once do they touch each other, try to kiss each other etc...but still it was so sensous, a scene we all fell for. then think when that actually happens, the physical attraction what will happen to us!!!!1
really really loved it...though love would be an understatement!
and other directors...take note!
