Lately the the twists and turns have been a bit too filmi. You know the type...dead father, mother down with tuberculosis, younger brother awara, younger sister some other problem. The episode in which Dev tries to give Earrings to Sona was like that. The couple couldn't find 10 min in an entire day. It was not like Dev was busying working either. Suddenly everyone needed Sona, Ishwari for something and Nikki for something else. And the entrance of Riya gets the cake, I mean seriously?

And Sona really needs to get off her high horse. Not agreeing with Dev is one thing which is perfectly understandable as two people can have two different opinions. Regarding Ranveer the way she says she is disappointed comes of as judgmental and really reeks of snobbishness. Compare that to the way Ishwari explains the same situation to Dev in way that at least makes Dev understand the other point of view. Where is sona's understanding that we saw during the chat right before the accident. She was willing to understand his point of view and didnt blame him for the way he reacted to Mami's behavior. If this is how she behaves everytime they have a difference of opinion, I dont much happiness in his future.

And in yesterday's episode. we see Neha's selfishness very clearly. Which means that Neha's character hasn't matured much even after finding "true love" as she claims. When Ranveer says he will try to make her happy, I was expecting some such assurances from her as well that she will also keep his wishes in mind in future. No such thing. I just don't see much in this relationship either when only one is willing to give while the other isn't.

First of all hope you and me are watching the same show ..

Second thing I don't understand why lately there is so many negative post about our show ? Now this is something I failed to understand much .
Well I understand everyone has their own point of views and we may disagree or agree to each other .
Whatever you are saying- Sona being judgmental and all that . i think we have already discussed this and many point of yours in details in some other post. Please read that . I don't think we need to discuss same and same negative points repeatitively.

Well this is just my point of view
Respect your pov and hope you will also respect my pov

P.s no intention to hurt anyone feeling .. Just expressing my pov

Sorry to disagree with you on this. I don't find anything filmy about the show. First of all, she works at his place and all the family members are at home. It is possible that they don't get time to meet the whole day. And it is actually difficult for Sona to go and meet Dev in his Room, when everyone is around. Specially RR. When Nikki is shown at home, she's around Sona most of the time. About Riya, obviously when she saw those earrings, she has to come to a conclusion. Knowing her brother, she just cannot imagine that he could have bring it for Dr. Bose right?

It's just the start of their relationship and they can disagree on some of things. Sona was judgemental i agree, but Dev handled the issue maturely and she after knowing his POV fully appologised to him... They both are stubborn and were angry at the same time, so she came without further listening to him and coming to the conclusion herself. This can happen between 2 people. Don't you think so. Earlier they were not in a relationship. She had to listen to him fully and she used to do that. Now they have that authoirty on eachother to get angry and all. And she was disappointed with him and left before letting him complete.

And for Neha, we should give her some time. She has suffered a lot all these years and now she wants to be pampered.. To be loved and when Ranveer is giving her that love, she wants to enjoy the attention.

totally depends on our perspective of seeing the same things.

What you are finding filmy or weird, almost all the viewers are calling the same show realistic and beautiful.

I am enjoying every bit of it. . And the points you have mentioned are very well explained by the comments above me😊

Agree with you. It has become predictable. The initial promos drove me crazy and as a Shaheer fan expected a great show for him. But no. I was disappointed. The romance was repetitive. The charecters inconsistent except Eswari Neha and to some extent Dev.

Totally agree with you on Sona's behaviour over Ranveer issue. Now I fear if Eswari dominated his life in the first phase same may happen with Sona in his life in the second phase.

Any way thoughtful post. Liked it.

i disagree completely.

Sona reacted like any normal young girl react in her age,Ishwari is old woman...how can we compare Ishwari with Sona,Sona dont act like mother as in many indian shows...she was wrong but that is not out if chracter...infact it was very real,when Dev made her realise that she was wrong leaving their discussion like that...She said SORRY too

that is how they are showing their relstionship grow...

regarding nt getting time,i think it has to do with, that they are scared to get caught...like if there was nothing in them...even when mama ji was sitting she could easily go ,but they know they can be caught...its like that.

this show from start till now never disappointed me,i hope it continues to do so...

regarding Neha and Ranveer,they are showing chracters...we cannot expect perfect characters everytime...they are humans and are not perfect...

that is why KRPKAB is most realistic show

I now understand why you have so many fans. Your response and explanation even has me convinced.😃😃

What I meant by filmi was that, in one of the episodes when Riya and Nikki come to know that Dev wants to see her, they insist she go see him first before anything else. I fail to understand how the very same Nikki could have dragged her to watch a movie especially considering that Dev and Sona were discussing something when Nikki barged in. This is what I find inconsistent and hence the filmi conflict, which felt deliberate. Also if you paid attention he was barely able to put the box inside his jacket pocket and the box falling out of it while just taking his hand out was a bit much. May be I am nitpicking here but the same could have been shown in a much more realistic way if the basic premise is for Dev not to be able to give it to Sona and instead to Riya. Such as he admiring it in his room when Riya sudenly enters his room to find him with the box and guessing its for her bday. I am not convinced with your explanation.

I find your explanation of Sona's behavior very acceptable.😃😃😃. I also hope that they show is situations where their behavior is reversed. Everyone wants to see a balanced relationship and this what the show promised.

Neha's has suffered a lot and we all are on the same page here. I dont expect her to complete do an about turn but we should see some gradual changes in her regarding her expectations out of life. So far I haven't seen much evidence. She was/is unhappy with his joint family setup, she hasn't shared her childless future with Ranveer nor is she budging on his financial situation. Where has she started to change? The only thing they showed was that she isn't unhappy with Dev getting engaged before her at this rate it will take a few years for her to change. Not sure the show will last that long😃😃

Glad you understood my POV. BTW for Nikki dragging Sona to watch the movie and the first scene where Nikki and Riya asked her to go and meet Dev first were 2 different scenarios.

In the first case. It was the immediate next day when Dev called off the engagement and his sisters were in a notion that he must be frustrated and may be angry and that's the reason they asked Sona to first go and meet him. But after that since few days they have seen Dev's changed behavior. He;s happy and cheerful all the time these day and that may be the reason Nikki could drag Sona for the movie as she knew Dev will not get angry this time.

That's a steep jump for Nikki, from being a bit afraid of Dev to interrupting a conversation, jyothiji. While I agree to an extent, is like we are coming up with excuses. At some point we j will ust plainly run out of them.

Also, can you not think of a place for 10 min. private conversation. It could have been his car. Or anywhere else outside. Two supposedly smart people just couldn't come up with a rendezvous between the two of them?? It beggars belief.

Why would anyone want to have a private conversation just outside the main glass door where anyone just coming in could see them not to mention those inside. I am sure one can come up with a justification for that as well l but that's when it starts looking deliberate rater than realistic.

They used to pay attention to little things like these. Notice the way they handled the entire engagement cancellation. Attention to detail. Now compare that to these. It felt like watching a movie back then. Now lately it started feeling like a TV show.

I think we flogged the horse to death with this conversion and don't want b to bore others to tears😉. But that's how I feel about the show currently. Hopefully they will pay more attention to small details like they used to.
