I don't knw if I m right in saying this but I thnk Sonakshi met Ranveer and convinced him to change his mind. She must have explained Ranveer abt the days Dixit's have undergone n the reason why Neha nd Dev tried to help him. As Sonakshi herself is from a middle class family, she can easily relate to what Ranveer was going through.
Sonakshi came late for work yesterday. May be Monday we might see Ranveer telling Dev abt this. Dev would feel happy and then plans to gift her a saree.
Also in the saree scene Dev tells Sona that she completes him. she has shared his problems and helped him solving it. For the first time he got that support from someone. He must be very happy nd to thank her, he planned this nd even cancelled to go at Ranveer's place.
