Yes me!!!! For two years and then we introduced ourselves to our respective families. 😆

IN reality parents come in the picture a little later only once you begin to know the person and share things and spend sometime together . 😳
Trust me no couple speaks about this to their parents so soon coz u need time to figure out things first and then take the big step.

Agree Aliyah. No one will mention right away. I have done too and when I was questioned I said no way. But later we told them.

I actually really like this thread bcos it's kinda cute! I agree with aaliya! I know a couple who went out for 7 years without telling their parents bcos different religions and all that jazz (they are happily married now just a little add on 😆)

I am currently in one right now. But haven't told parents mainly bcos the differences btwn my family and his family are limitless 🤪 (think interracial). Also both of us are very weird, we want to be at a particular stage in life before we tell our parents anything really... And it's best to let relationships flow with their own pace, not burden it prematurely with something as daunting as telling your parents. 🤪

Yup been there done that.
Mine was an office romance so we tried really hard not to let our colleagues and friends know about it. But reaching ofc early to have breakfast together in ofc canteen, staying late in ofc till 10pm even when work was less, going to ofc on weekends 😆 , endless chats on ofc messenger (no whatsapp those days), going to meet each other for some work related queries 😆

I can really co-relate to super fast confession from Dev as my BF then proposed after just knowing me for 2 months. And I was like how can you take a life decision so fast at age 23yrs and said NO initially followed by YES after 2 yrs. 😉

We told our parents after 7 yrs of courtship which included us staying in different cities, countries, continents and now happily married.

Yes !! Being in love for the first time is so confusing ..I guess people take time to convince themselves of this new found feeling...and kind of enjoy the secrecy that they share...all those chats ..messages..late night calls..long drives...yeah been there 😆.. We did take some time to tell our parents and when we did ...as expected they were shocked ...initially had loads of challenges... Slowly overcame them one by one...and got married 😳...Probably that is why we all can relate to the way Dev ,Sonakshi and Dev's mom behaves 😉
