Uff! The episode was just breathtaking, and your analysis made me relive every detail again. Dev's intensity as a lover is off the charts! ☺️ I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, since it mirrors how he is with everything else, but I have to admit he totally caught me off guard! Word to this! He does surprise you but then you remember that this is how he is. I guess its because we have only witnessed his intensity as a person, not as a lover before so the effect is ☺️ And I too loved how Sona is so true to character. Her most explicit expressions of emotion, happy or sad, are always in private and this is no different; in front of Dev, she is still that calm, soothing, in-control girl. I can't wait for the day when Dev gets to catch her doing one of her trademark happy dances! 😆 Word again :) I think we're going to see that soon in the upcoming rain sequence. 😆
It's also refreshing to see the male progagonist losing his head for once; it's usually the woman who can't keep it together. Here we have a strong-willed Sona who was able to remain convincingly professional throughout the weeks of being head over heels in love with her boss, and even now she has her head firmly on her shoulders when she reminds Dev that she didn't come to see him, and actually works at the house (HOW she manages this is something to be admired!)
Excellent point. I had meant to mention that bit about Sona in my post but you said it much better. Dev, on the other hand, is already getting a little careless in his love for Sona, letting his mum worry about his whereabouts all night, answering her flippantly in the morning, and going to work late just to stare at his lady love for a little while longer. God knows poor Dev deserves this time, but unfortunately the complexity of his family means there will be consequences and it will be totally new to see a man deal with them!
I know Dev is going to get them in trouble but right now its just so great to see him so happy. If anyone deserves it, its him. I'm so nervous for them, its going to be a royal mess once the truth comes out. Just hope they get their rightful share of happiness before the angst kicks in.
The one thing that is bothering me just a teeny smidge is that Sona has not yet switched from "aap" to "tum" and I am really worried she won't because Indian TV. Fingers crossed, since she did use "tum" for Dev before he was her boss. I know it's really minor, and I don't want to be a party pooper, but this show has spoiled me and made me utterly unprepared to suspend disbelief! 😛 Hahaha I think it will happen eventually. Even in the promos she addressed him as 'tum' not 'aap'. I guess they will just vary? Even Dev keeps switching between Aap and Tum. I'm fine with anything except the very annoying 'ji' at the end of someone's name. Imagine Sona calling him Dev ji. 😳
