Sorry guys if I am getting a head start, trust me I m enjoying this romantic season of Devakshi to the fullest, but at the same time I am worried about their future and Ishwari being the obstacle, I just don't get why, so the BIG QUESTION IS...

Why would Ishwari have any problem with Dev n Sona's relationship...other than her being obsessed with her son, I really don't see any other reason.

1. She likes Sona, treats her nice, takes her side when Radha Rani scolds her.
2. Money is not an issue for Ishwari, but still Sona's family seems richer than Ranveer's family and they are super nice and chilled out.

3 And above all, she always claims that she is happy if her son is happy and obviously he is very happy with Sona.

Andcome on Ishwari maa, like Devsaid he is a son, he is not going away from her, instead he is bringing Sona home.

So where is the problem???? please share what you all think.

Its a state of a woman (Ishwari in this case) who wants Dev only for herself. Not even her sisters exists between Ishwari and Dev. These types of people do exist in the world n so the series is just magnifying what might happen in such cases. As far as I know no tv series had ever focused on an issue like this.

It will be an intense story as I can see in future.

thats what i had also thought about eshwari being sefish.
but recent episodes hav shown otherwise. now she is with dev in every decision
of his. she just wants his happiness. same was shown in natashas case too.
yes she felt little insecure when nikki and mami told her about how devs room would have to
be changed according to natashas wishes too but still she never felt jealous.
the main reason for eshwari to be against devs alliance with sona wil be bcos
of nehas failed relationship with ranveer. so i guess it will take some time for that to happen.
till then v can enjoy devakshilacious episodes

Heck, I can never get tired of this "lovey dovey" stuff- they are simply way too cute. But yes I am looking forward to Ishwari stepping into their love story. Should be bery interesting

Marriage appears to have a greater impact on mother-son relationship than on mother-daughter relationship. It is mostly seen in our society that marriage is greedier towards men than women when it comes to intergenerational relationship..

So, I find Ishwari's insecurities very real.. See, She is Dev's first nurturer and she is fearing the fact that once Dev chooses his life partner, she has to step back and allow her daughter-in-law to step forward and take over the primary nurturing. Obviously, this isn't easy for any mother and same is the case with Ishwari. As the story progresses she'll have to learn to let go, trust Sona and trust that for Dev both of them are equally important. Ishwari's acceptance of Sona and their relationship from thereon without a doubt would need Dev's touch..

I personally think this is an interesting concept that this show is exploring. These days I feel that the families tend to focus more on the wedding and not the marriage. Parents are not prepared for the extent to which their relationships with their children may be affected by their children's marriage and the need to incorporate both son-in-law and daughter-in-law into the family.

Does anyone remember the starting promos of KRPKAB. I still remember and most of you might.
It was when Sona calls and Ishwari was doing Puja and she calls Dev and tells that Dr. Sonakshi is calling. That time Dev asks her "Are you still angry with Maa". And if you clearly notice Ishwari's reaction there she wasn't angry or was disliking the fact that Sona called Dev

So there might be something coming which will make Ishwari angry for sure. Be it any reason, any plotting. That would be for time being but Dev will assume it for long may be.

Dislike and anger are different things. It is actually a general insecurity here as every other mother does; but with time she will learn to live with it.

Not only Sona, she was not so happy during Dev-Natasha engagement.
Radha Rani's reaction was more genuine and real when Dev declared engagement is not happening, ishwari's reaction was like 'Than God.. Good riddance' otherwise which mother would behave calmly when his son decided to end everything few minutes before engagement? She should panic thinking about Natasha for at least few minutes.

Not like she wants best life partner for her kids. She accepted Ranveer without meeting his family, checking his background, never bothered to know about his income. She knows Neha has habit to throw tantrum and cant really adjust in his small house among dozen of people, still she accepted Ranveer because she doesnt care where Neha Nikki and Riya are going.

She just wants to be centre of attention in Dev's life. Neha riya nikki might be close but not as close as ishwari. A person would obviously get more close with wife because of physical relation

She doesnt want anyone else to arrange dev's clothes OR wait for him at night. She doesnt want someone else should come between them. During Dev-Natasha engagement preparation she looked more disturbed and less happy.

this not a new issue...there are lots of mothers like ishwari in the real world...i guess she has seen the world so much thus her trust has been shaken badly...her fears if dev gets married...she will not have the rights and place in dev's life...the fear that dev might throw away her from his life after getting married...yes she loves her son but she doesn't trust him at all...she needs to learn how to trust her son... she loves dev so much that she forgets to trust her own son...not only natasha and sona...she doesn't want dev to get married to anyone...she wants dev for herself...she is obsessed with dev...she doesn't realise that dev is lonely...she doesn't realise that dev is in pain even though he doesn't show it...she doesn't realise that dev needs a companion in his life...a companion who loves and take care of him for the person...she doesn't realise that what will happen to dev after she is no more...she doesn't realise that neha...riya...nikki will go off one day after marriage...but what will happen to dev...who will take care of him...how lonely he will be...to accept sona...she will need to think of all this aspect...which at the moment...she will not do it...she loves her son but doesn't understand his feelings...doesn't understand his needs and desires...
