Devakshi OS - Finally

Door bell rang... Once... She heard it but flinched... She dreaded from getting up...

Bell rang again... This time more fiercely showing the urgency... Someone was in hurry...she knew it was milkman. So she got up somehow...

Fever had taken toll on her body... She felt weak and shaky... She opened the door and saw Dev standing... 'What the hell... No m not seeing u again Dev...pls pls go away from my dreams, my mind, my heart... ' These Dev dreams were endless... And were soo out of control... They had become so painful for her.

"Good Morning" Dev said.

"Kyun aaye ho. Chale jao. Nahin baat karni muzhe." Sona spoke angrily.

"Kya... Sonakshi its me... Dev... I wanna talk to you. " Dev stared at her weak statue.

"Nooo go away u Dev dreams. "

Dev tried taking her hand but she freaked out more... Her bodyp gave up... She felt her world spinning.

"Sonakshi... Omg... Sonaaa...nooo... ."

He caught her just in time. "Ohh shoot... Sona u hv fever... Saurabh... Ellena... Koi hai"

"Gooo awawayyy... " Sona mumblled.

Sona s father rushed... "Aare kya hua... Sona beta... Sonaaa... "

Sona slowly opened her drowsy eyes. She saw Dev next to her sitting on her bed.

She smiled at him.

"Muzhe malum hai ye dream hai aur aankhe kholte hi tum chale jaoge..."

She felt sad and looked down. Teary eyes she looked up again...

"I love you Mr Dixit. I love you so much. I dnt wanna wake up ever. "

Dev s smile widened.

"Could I call you Dev? "

He nodded in concent. Her pale face lit up.

"Dev... Dev... "

"Rest karo tum... "Dev ordered.

" Can i... Come closer... Pls"

He leaned... She gently kissed his cheek and felt shy...

Dev smiled ... And planted a soft kiss on her lips...

She jumped upright... This was real... He was for real...

"Ellenaaa... "

Ellena rushed to her side... "Kya kya hua Sonaa... "

"Ellena do u see... Do u ... Do u see anyone else here... "

"Sona calm down... Kya hua tumhe... Mr Dixit is here ... Calm down... "

Sona went numb... He was for real and he had kissed her... What was happening...

"Ellena give us a moment please... " Dev requested.

He waited for Ellena to leave and turned to look at Sona. She looked like she had seen a ghost.

He bent again to kiss her again on her forehead..."No... " Sona started to cry... She wanted that proximity bt stopped him with both hands on his bent self and closed her eyes tightly..

"Aap ki toh enguagement hui kal... Aur ye sab..." She spoke finally opening her eyes. She stared at him with her pale curious eyes. She had no idea of the turmoil he faced.

"Enguagement tod di maine. Its off. Realisation hit me late Sonakshi. But its there now and since the time I have known .. Vaqt jaise ruk sa gaya hai... I have been waiting entire night outside for you. Have been waiting to tell you that I love you... " his eyes sparkled with his newly discovered emmotions. Not once did he look away.

"I have been so alone all these years... Engrossed in making it big... It has never mattered to me... I only wanted to be successful and give my family a stable happy life without struggles we faced in the past. I have had no time for all this. But then things started to change. I have been wanting to know what love feels like... (Laughs)...they were all happening and i was still ignorent about them... I started to notice your presence, your needs, your pain, your joy, your laughter, your smiles, and finally You... But not once did I realise that it was love. Muzhe laga tum wierd behave kar rahi thi. Muzhe kya pata tha ki aap muzhase...(pauses)main samaz nahin paya aapko... I am sorry Sonakshi.. I love you very much. "

Sona couldnt hold back anymore and hugged him tightly.

"Love you too... Dev... "
