Part 2
A congestive pain occurred in Sona's chest, she could not breath properly because of heavy emotions, she can not reveal her love yet help him to cope up with the fact that he is now belong to someone else.
She took his gesture as friendly as possible, she started shivering, somehow managed with the food stuffs. She escaped from his cage of burdens.
He felt ignored, once more, he didn't look at her when the place in front of him was empty, he fell forward to be supported by her. She could not see him falling or rather breaking down. He fell little disoriented onto her shoulder.
" I don't know what to say Mr. Dixit" she told him.
" but right now, your mother needs me more" with this, he felt helpless, one person with whom he used to share everything in life is unwell and other pretending to be non supportive.
He balanced himself, tried to come into senses and helped her to take food for his mother.
They reached to Ishwari and began to feed her so that she can be well next morning, she had to be well. When all was done, they helped her to go back to sleep and while a mother caresses her child's face for helping her with things, she did to both of them and gestured to bless both of them, together.
They looked each other with affection. Sona excuses herself with taking plates to back in kitchen, after a while he followed her. Managing with the pace in his heart, he said " I want to talk".
"What is it Mr. Dixit?" Composed Sona keeping plates into washing portion in kitchen.
" stop calling me Mr. Dixit, first" he held his breath and then spoke in a go.
" and second" he looked at her..
" I know now, whom I love" he pierced her heart with his eyes.
She didn't speak further, hold her breath and winced, took a step back, supported herself while holding onto the slab.
" Mr. Dixit...the day went heavy for you, I think you should sleep" she advised.
" Really" holding lot of expectations in his eyes, waiting her to question him about 'the one'.
" yes" in rhythm to his questions.
They didn't move for a while, he was not ready to go and she was not ready to listen who was the person.
Silence took over and with that their whole body fell numb.
But it was broken as the clock tick a "12".
He didn't move at all. He was waiting, hoping her to asks who is the person. She understood his emotions but she will not going to asks, she didn't want to break her heart, she is alone right now, she was not at her home to get the support.
She took his hand and motion to his room, she was forcing him to go but he was hoping, still hoping, he sang song for her, still she didn't understand, he thought.
When her patience got over, she held his hand and dragged to his room, he was effortlessly staring at her to ask him.
She made him sit, she could not face his eyes now. She already had enough pain for the day, she could not tolerate more. Time was passing by, feeling, needing, hoping, waiting but nothing was happening. She went out of his room without giving him a look. And straight away went down, sat on sofa and started fighting herself inside.
Her self talk " he needs you right now " " I too need myself now"
" Go upstairs, take him into your arms" her innerself forcing, " No, I will be shattered then,,.. completely "
She looked up to his room, sees the lights were still on " what is his doing, why he is not sleeping?" she was getting restless, she herself need to see him fine. Without thinking further, she went up straight and she reached and when he was about to put his sleeping pills in his mouth.
She ran into him and threw them away. She looked him with anger. He expressed as a lost child.
She melt down.
Both are waiting to take each other in their arms, they are forcing themselves to not take the step but as the feeling went on top of everything.
She both hugged each other, tight, they moved towards Sona with a little force and accidentally switches light off.
"Whaii" she spoke something and he " shh" her.
" Stay calm" he paused after saying, keeping her in his arm.
Darkness outside filling their heart with light, they felt complete.
" I want you to stay like this" he demands with hopeful rights.
They hugged each other feeling for each other until they felt warm. She motioned her hand to switch on light only to be stopped by him. He pushed her against the wall near the window where little light was there.
" Why am I seeing you everywhere?" he questioned straight.
She was surprised of what was he saying. " you have answered all of my worries" he looked hopeful for this one too.
She gulps nervously, blinks her eyes in disbelief.
She looked to him again, waiting him to speak more.
There he too was waiting " I was getting engage to someone else, why I was searching for you all the time?"
He motions his fingers in her neck unknowingly that made her melt down on his touch. He was taken aback.
" why are you allowing me to touch you?" His endless questions begun.
" why from past few days, you were ignoring me? "
" why were we restless if we could not see each other?"
" why there should be no Natasha in between us?"
She came to her senses, pushed him back and tried to leave but he held her one more time " answer me" he takes her in his arm back " or this night is not going to get over" and he shuts the door, moving everywhere in his room, each door.
" why did you hug me just now?"
She answered with heavy emotions " as if you don't know ".
They stayed that night together with their first indirect confession and their first effort to kiss each other. Dev understood, she was not easy to handle and he was not going to keep her away. His first effort went to vain to kiss her bit chances are more to come.
" I won't leave you, take that, keep that in your head" he told her and ask her to finally go back to her room.
