I literally five second ago read the post about how Dev's going to find a guy for Neha and I couldn't help but write a post on how wrong that is currently for Neha. I wish they showed more on how Neha used her inner turmoil to drive her to succeeding in things. For right now, that would be her learning English. It makes me mad why they are so obsessed with her getting married, if she wants to get married she will, if she doesn't she doesn't 😡. Instead show character development on how she learns to enjoy the present instead of being glum about the hard past she's had. I hope that by the end of the show, if I looked how Neha communicated and interacted with people, it would completely contrast to her behavior that she has had and has present(in a positive way). Also I hope that instead of showing stupid marriage stuff, they show how Neha learns to not necessarily forgive and forget but move on from her resentment towards IshwarI. It would be so cool to see their relationship grow and become stronger as mother daughter, see how Ishwari feels that same proudness that she's had for Dev, for Neha. And just see them become closer to each other. Also see how she creates a healthy relationship with her brother she has always envied. I think their relationship is soo unhealthy, she yells at him and he say I'll give you what you want to be happy. Dev says Neha being married will help, but I think all that he needs to do is talk. Communication is the one key thing missing in the Dixit family, yes they love each other but they never say what's actually in their hearts, unlike the Bose family. Going with the whole "give Neha what she wants" thing, Neha doesn't want anything materialistic, she just wants to have her own identity other then the second parent to Nikki and Riya. An identity which she has created herself other than Dev's sister who sacrificed a lot, instead, Natasha Dixit the girl who can stand on her own feet.
And although yes, I do like her growing relationship with her English teacher (forgot his name), i think they should wait for actual love to blossom, wait until Neha has moved on to a healthy motive and way of life. One that doesn't have her constantly remembering her past struggles, and resentments. But I'm not gonna lie, he (English teacher) seems like a very genuine and simple person who wants a relationship. I hope he's willing to wait for her, because I think they are really good together. He never gives her pity, or makes her feel sorry for what she's had to do in her life, (I'm talking to radha rani here..) but motivates her to do things that in the future she'll be able to proudly tell people without resent or regrets.
Basically all I'm saying is CV's please wait on the whole marrying Neha thing, and focus on developing her character into an amazing and admirable person who can inspire more people to just move on.
Sorry, just had to say this. 😊
