We got an insight of Ishwari's struggles and Dev's attaining maturity at a very young age making us connect to their characters but what is yet unexplored is the reason behind those struggles and prematurity.. There is no mention at all of Dev's Father in the Dixit household not by Dev, Ishwari, Neha or for that matter the other two Dixit kids..
I really wish the CV's show us the background for this because it is an important part of the story..

And also I wonder as to why none of them ever remember the father figure of the family, seems like it is an old forgotten memory..

Hope that someday when Dev and Sonakshi are together and he is sharing the woes of his life, we get an insight into this too because it'll give greater connect..

P.S. - I can't wait to see these two together and I'm more eager to see Dev Dixit hopelessly in love because that will be a treat to my eyes.. Hope those days come soon..

Your two cents on this topic??

Love,
Kashmi 😃

EXactly ! Very good point raised ! I'd also asked this same question at the starting of the show , but then I thought koi baat nehi, let's give them some time , n then they'll probably give an entire episode on DEv;s father.
It looks n feels like Dev n his sisters have fallen from sky in Ishwari's womb, no mention, no photo, no remembering of their father , or even Ishwari. or even baton ki dukaan RR n her husband..

Thank you..

The show has completed more than 50 episodes now so it's high time they cover this angle too because otherwise it'll be a huge loophole in such an amazing storyline..

Exactly!! I know right?? 😆😆

I understand Ishwari is the one man show of the home and everyone respects her and everything but then no mention at all of the Father figure of the family, hell not even his name is bizarre.. 😕

I just thought that!!

Vicky, well he is a useless piece of mutt so no expectations but Mama and Radha Rani also never mention his name.. It intrigues me as to why no mention??

What was the cause of death? And how did they directly come crashing down with nothing left at all?? I mean did his father leave nothing at all for them to survive??

I'm very very curious..

Nice post. The point raised is really important and it is high time the CVs unfold the secret. I also am intrigued at the way they abruptly removed Khatri from the storyline. It is not convincing. So they should connect all the lose ends and then proceed with the main story line.It looks authentic then. Really curious to know about Dev Dikshit's father.

Finally , I am glad to find someone who is also thinking on same lines ... Initially , when the promos were aired ... Dev did mention that his father died when he was 8 year old ... and in the show , we only hear Mama mentioning the demise (even the name is not known )
A further insight into this by the CVs is appreciated :)
