"Yoga kijiye, Mr. Dixit. Do meditation and yoga. You won't get so stressed. It's a Powerplay over, and they have just given 28 runs in the over." Sonakshi said, feigning solemnity.
"Relax, Ms. Bose. I think you should do yoga. Itna tension, is not good for health." It was Dev's turn to have the upper hand.

OS - Yoga Every Morning
"Mr. Dixit?" Sonakshi walked into Dev's room, in the morning, just as he was getting ready to leave for work.
"Good Morning, Ms. Bose."
"I have found out a permanent solution for your insomnia." She proudly announced.
Dev paused over the act of tying his watch, and looked at her questioningly.
"Yoga." She said, in hushed tones.
"Aap itna theatrical effect kyun de rahi hain, Ms. Bose?" Dev asked her, not taking it seriously.
"Because, I am a star." She said, blinking her eyes, excited and childlike.
"Okay..." Dev could just smile at her antics. "You were saying..."
"Yes. As I was, saying, Yoga is the perfect solution to your problems. I couldn't help thinking about your issue, Mr. Dixit. A lot of youngsters these days, like you and me, resort to allopathic medication and sleeping pills. It isn't new at all. People working in software especially, have a lot of work pressure and stress. I have heard of many such cases, when I worked in the hospital, from fellow doctors. Many doctors, recommend pills, because they find it remunerative. But, a few really good ones, suggested doing Yoga regularly. So, I spoke to a former colleague from there, and he is one such doctor. He said the same. I think you should consider it. A lot of people teach Yoga these days. In fact, there are classes conducted everywhere. And, for a man, like you, I am sure it won't be hard to find."
Dev just listened, and was gauging the pros and cons of the ancient cure. "Ms. Bose, I am sure it's good for health etc. But, I don't really have time for it. You know how busy I am. And, I cannot afford to spend more time and energy than I already do."
"You don't have to, Mr. Dixit. Yoga doesn't tire you. It energizes you. A lot of people have the same misconception. Many classes are conducted early in the mornings, from 5 am onwards, sometimes. You can ask anyone who actually attends these early morning sessions. They have the capability and energy to work as much as they usually work, waking up an hour or two early doesn't reduce their efficiency."
Dev, nodded, he was more keen now. "But, time, Ms. Bose. I don't have that..."
"Well, I am sure you can make some time. The logic that you always use on your Mom, and sisters, applies to you too. They won't be pleased if you fell ill."
"I'll work it out, and ask Teena to find someone. But, tell me something, Ms. Bose, why don't you go for Yoga?"
"Time, Mr. Dixit. I never really made time, and didn't find any need for it."
"Are you serious? You gave me a sermon on practicing Yoga, and finding time for it, and in the same breath, you are claiming you don't have time? You know, what, once Teena finds someone, you are coming with me. Waise bhi, aap itna gussa karti hain, it isn't good for your heart." Dev chided.
"Ab, aap mere doctor ban rahe hain?"
"Jee nahi. Bas ek dost and a well-wisher."
"By the way, Mr. Dixit. Don't bring a Yoga instructor home, as your personal instructor. You have money for it. But, a lot of middle class, common people, would lose out on their health because they cannot afford personal instructors. It's a request." Sonakshi added, in a small voice.
"Ms. Bose, if you are referring to yourself, then, I have explained a lot of times to you, that, what I did, was what I had to do. Ma was in a terribl..."
Before, Dev could continue, Sonakshi stopped him, "No, you don't have to give me explanations for the past, Mr. Dixit. There are other nutritionists in the hospital. That isn't the case with Yoga. Don't mistake me." She finished with a smile, and moved to leave.
"Ms. Bose. Don't forget, you'll be going too." Dev assured with a grin.
"I don't really have any issues, Mr. Dixit. I don't need it."
"I am sure, you have never heard of the proverb, Prevention is better than cure', Ms. Bose."
"Of course, I have, Mr. Dixit. I didn't live under a stone."
"But, most doctors like to remain ignorant of it, right, Ms. Bose? Imagine, if people starting taking care of their health despite not having any illnesses, how will doctors make their money?" Dev joked.
"Mr. Dixit. I will NOT approve this blatant disrespect to a noble profession."
"The profession is noble, I never said anything against it. The people aren't."
"But, a few are, Ms. Bose." He added hurriedly, as Sonakshi gave him a death glare.
At Night
Sonakshi's phone rang.
"Yes, Mr. Dixit?"
"Ms. Bose, there is someone called Usha teaching Yoga, close by. It isn't very far for either of us. Teena's spoken to her. Class at 6 in the morning tomorrow. I'll pick you up at 5.40. Don't be late."
Sonakshi glowered at the phone, "Mr. Dixit. I am quite punctual. Mujhe time par aana aata hai."
"It was a precautionary measure. I handle four women, Ms. Bose. I know, Bas aayi, paanch minute' ka kya matlab hota hai. Anyways, I'll pick you up tomorrow."
"You are pardoned. But, why drive Mr. Dixit? You said, it isn't that far. Why can't we walk? Can you text the address? I'll meet you there."
"Not a bad idea, Ms. Bose. I'll meet you at the MG Road junction. We have to take the same direction from there."
"Okay then. Good night."
The Next Morning
Sonakshi and Dev reached at the same time.
"Good Morning, Mr. Dixit." Sonakshi wished him, stifling a yawn.
"Good Morning, Ms. Bose. Why are you so sleepy?"
"Because it is early in the morning, Mr. Dixit. Duh." She said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
"Most people wake up early in the morning. What is the problem?"
"But, not SO early!" Sonakshi whined.
Dev hid a laugh.
"Are you laughing at me? Because aap nahi sote, it doesn't mean, others don't."
"It isn't sleeplessness, Ms. Bose. I did sleep, with the help of those pills. I usually wake up, this early, to go the gym."
"And, when are you going to the gym then?"
"I am taking a break from there. I had a chat with the instructor. She claims, Yoga is more beneficial than going to the gym. I want to see how it is."
"Teena is a wonder woman, isn't she? I mean, in less than a day, she found out someone who teaches Yoga, and does it well, because clearly, you will never opt for anything less. And, also someone who is in the same area."
"Yes, she is." Dev said, with a smile.
"What will you do without Teena, Mr. Dixit?" Sonakshi continued, teasingly.
"Nothing at all, Ms. Bose." Dev didn't take the bait.
He tilted his head and gave her a knowing smirk.
"Well here, we are." Dev declared, as they reached a small house.
"She has a hall kind of place, in the terrace. Can you see people going in?" Dev told Sonakshi.
Outside After The Class
"That was rejuvenating." Sonakshi said, as they walked down the stairs, and Dev nodded.
They walked along the street, and Dev continued, "Now, I know, why I cannot sleep at night. It's because I breathe more with my right nostril than my left."
"Yes. And, I feel sleepy because my left nostril is super active. Why don't you try it out tonight? Do that, balancing Pranayama, from your left nostril. Maybe, you'll get better sleep."
"I plan to. Digressing, I think Nikki ki bhi meri jaisi hi problem hai." Dev casually said, laughing. "Have you seen, how she keeps jumping around like a monkey all day? Raat ko bhi thakti nahi, Nikki."
Sonakshi joined him and laughingly said, "I think it runs in the genes."
Dev was making fun of his sister, but the fondness, didn't escape Sonakshi.
It wouldn't have escaped anyone, rather.
"You adore your sisters, don't you?"
"I do." Dev said, with finality.
And, they walked in silence, until Sonakshi broke it, "But, I think, in trying to give them the best of the world, you aren't giving them, something, that they need even more than all those riches you shower on them."
Sonakshi knew she was treading on shaky grounds, but she said it nevertheless.
"Time. I know. I can't help it. But, they too, have their respective lives, Ms. Bose. Riya works at my office. Nikki has her college friends. It is Neha, who is the worst beaten. Every time. Every. Single. Time." Dev was incensed, by the time, he finished speaking.
"Neha hasn't been treated fairly, Ms. Bose. And, I fail every time, I try to bridge that gap."
"Maybe, you are trying in the wrong direction. Like, we just took the wrong direction home. Now, neither of us is going, right." Sonakshi lightened the mood.
Dev realized, and looked around, they had indeed turned away from home.
"Well. I think this is a good walk then. It's just after 6, Ms. Bose. Early morning walks are really good."
"I was just thinking of that. Maybe, we should just go for a walk every day, like this. Warna, I don't get an opportunity to go for walks." Sonakshi added.
"Yes, we should. You were saying, something about Neha.."
"Yes, I mean. Maybe, you could try out something else. Have you ever tried talking to Neha?"
"What do you mean, Ms. Bose? I am not that busy a brother, that I don't even talk to my sister."
"No, that's not what I mean. Neha is scarred, and instead of trying to talk about her scars and wounds, if you try talking to her normally, talk to her about normal stuff, like anything..."
She paused to look at Dev, who nodded, urging her to continue, "I don't know, like the weather, instead? You know what I mean.. Share your day at the office with her. Tell her something new, you saw. Mr. Dixit, anything, but trying to convince her about her past, and accept it."
"I am sorry, if I am advising you. I was just suggesting something. Baaki, aapki marzi." Sonakshi finished.
"No. I think you are right. It's high time, I deal with Neha's past and I will tackle it differently, this time. Thank you, Ms. Bose."
"Any time, Mr. Dixit. I think, I should have done a double major, in Nutrition and Psychology right?" Sonakshi joked, self-praising herself.
"God save the world, then." Dev muttered.
"I heard that."
Dev and Sonakshi just looked at each other and laughed, continuing their walk, and playful banter.
