Heyy,
I am not a big fan of Indian serials, I find them over the top, slow and just horribly slow. I used to watch couple of them before but i endured their slow pace because the leads were good. However KRPKAB has changed everything. This show is so beautiful, and since last two episodes I have fallen in love with this show all over again.

The pace is perfect, its not too slow and neither too fast. It matches the pace of American tv shows which is huge because honestly they have the perfect pace. I doo feel that 30 mins which is around 20 mins without the ad breaks is less but that cannot be changed.

The acting of both leads is PERFECT 😊 its so effortless and easy, Shaheer and Erica are doing wonderful job. And the story does not include unnecessary 'falling in each other's arm' or 'saving from gundas', those typical situations which start the love story No, the story starts with them knowing each other. It starts from when Sona sees beyond Dev's big house and his workaholic behaviour, when she sees her soft heart and his care for his family. The story starts from when Dev realises that Sona is a smart, hardworking, loyal woman. And this makes their interactions so much more significant and romantic and pleasurable.

I love the general story of the show. Its realistic and all relationships are dealt very realistically. There is no typical 'vamp' or 'sanskari' ladki. I love that they show Sona as working, independent women, who takes cares of her family and the family supports her independence. I love that Dev respects her more because she is dedicated and good in her work. I love Sona's character, her thoughts and how patiently she deals with everything. When she talked to Dev about letting the youngest sister go for sleepover, she did it so sensibly. I love that she stand up for herself and does not always start crying. She is strong and deals with situations without tears.

I am loving the portrayal of women in this show. They are not wearing over the top and completely ridiculous jewelry with bright and heavy sarees. All women in the show wear simple clothes. I love that the show shows that Neha is going out there to study english, reminding every girl out there that its never too late to learn and be your own person. And they go out and return and thats okay because this is 21st century, girls are not supposed to sit at home and cook and return before dark. The show does not promote those typical and hypocritical values when it comes to girls. The show deals with women properly. They are not mere props( like in most Hindi movie these days) for the guy to fall in love with and to look beautiful on screen, to look like a seedhi-sadhi ladki who keeps her head down, no the females in the show are characters with their own storylines and own personality.

Last two episodes have been beautiful, the direction, the concept, everything has been spot on. Dev sharing his stories, opening himself up to her in such a situation was wonderful to see. And when he thanks his employees for coming, that was even more touching because it such a good insight to his character. He understands that he is rich because of all the people who have supported him. He does not treat richness as his right but as his blessing. And more importantly the show itself treats Dev's richness very differently from other shows. Dev is happy that he is rich but not because he knows he can have whatever he wants but its because his richness allows him to ease his family's pain and hardships. For Dev money is not for intimidating others or using that money as form of power but its for making sure that his family is happy.

This show is wonderful and there are so many other reasons for that, but the mentioned above stand out to me the most. I hope they continue this show with same awesomeness. Wonderful job by all actors, and everyone involved.
