5 ghante wait kiya..5 ghante wait kiya..what's the fuss about? He only waited for her because of this mother. Is it so difficult to understand? Why is this wait being perceived as something else altogether? Like as if he's waiting for the love of his life and he feels something for her. Why a big deal is being made out by Shona when Dev only has interest in his mother's well-being.

Shona has no self-respect at all. I don't even want to start on that. Can only fight with the hero, but becomes a doormat before everyone else like all the other FLs of desi shows.

I think the fuss about it is that.. In Devs head, it's only for his mother.. But deep down, very subconsciously it's for Shona too. He just doesn't realize it that very very very deep down he slightly wants her too. And as for what Elena is saying. She doesn't know Dev waited for his mother. And he is the boss. So he could have gone away anytime. He could have gotten irritated too. But he waited only for his mother. And this fact is really unusual. So it was obviously interpreted as though he was waiting for Sona darling, coz there is some chakkar between them. ;)

One of the qualities that make a girl see a compassionate side of a guy is how he take cares of female members in his family most of all his mother . You expect that a guy who loves his mother so deeply then how much he will love he will have for his life partner and someone girl wants tp be part of that family .

Dev did mostly for his mother but still waiting for 5 hrs is a big deal he didnt even got frustrated over her . Behaved so well . He respects sona a lot

I don't see any big deal because as of now Sona has the upper hand because she was humiliated and Dev needs Sona and not vice-versa. Whatever Dev did was for his mother and he knew his mom and mami were responsible this time so how could he afford to get mad at her? She is not even obliged to meet him in the first place because of the humiliation meted out by Dev's family and on top of that the excellent results of his mom's reports has him behave well in front of her because she is the best for his mom and needs her and Dev knows it. So this 5 hour wait is nothing IMO.

No I am not talking about Elena as she is unaware of the whole situation but Sona herself as she couldn't believe he waited 5 hours for her and emphasized that again and again but completely forgets her humiliation and accepts the job.
