I just hope they do more damage control of Dev's character n continue with the progress they're making with his character in last two episodes. Plus , I badly need him to apologize to Sona for every thing he did in the beginning with her career n her job choice , to secure her for his mom's nutritionist.
Because in real life no girl ever ever falls for the guy who has done that to her, no matter how many sugar free cakes he brings for her mom.
I know it's a show and we needn't worry about logic , but still the entire basis of the love story shouldn't be illogical.

@red - Yes last two episodes brought positive changes in Dev's character; hope they continue to build it up instead of going backwards again.

@blue - He was selfish and unconcerned at that time; first we need to see him realizing his mistake; with realization comes repentance and with repentance comes forgiveness; hope CVs show the progression and not make it too fast paced; all three done in 3 days.

@green - yes falling in love with a person who fired you for his own selfish goals, then prevented you from getting a job anywhere and forced you to work for him - that's really a tough one to deal with; no I don't see that happening in real life 😛

@purple - any story without logic is hard to find its footing; in order for the storyline to be strong, specially Devakshi's love story, they need to place it on a strong foundation of trust and understanding. So Dev has to do definitely more than bring a cake; But I think CVs should bring those changes slowly, not over two days.

The rapidity with which CVs brought change in Dev overnight with the cake episode and all those nice stories that are heaped on Sona by the sister, and through Riya-Neha conversation, tells me that CVs are ready to give a makeover to Dev as fast as possible. That is a welcome change👍🏼 but should be done in slow progression for the audience to enjoy and relish every episode.

@juhi emotional scars are hard to heal. Any physical injury it will heal. Because we can see it, apply medicine and then with time it heals.
Problem with emotional scars is that we don't know where is the problem. We cannot see them. And so we don't know their existence. Healing an emotional scar needs lot of introspection. For that first you need to accept you are emotionally scarred. Then the healing process will start. It always need a loving person. In Dev's case a loving understanding woman who is emotionally balanced and in Neha's case a man who has his emotions controlled.
Dev is not any criminal. He is a product of a system. A system that doesn't know to treat poor well, a system that has no humanity. If Dev has to change for me when he has nothing wealth or power someone has to love him, stand by him. Showing him the world is not that bad.

I think the bad blood ( if you can even call it that) stems from how they met and how she made him chase her for him to get his way. He's clearly not used to hearing no for an answer, and in terms of his "niceness" it's only ever directed to family ( and that's who we primarily see him engage with). We also get to see him interact with some of his coworkers and he is professional, but in terms of Sona I think that professionalism went down the drain the moment she dropped atta on him and named him Mr. Obodro. He does try to be well composed and nice to her, but Sona doesn't always make it the easiest.

I agree Sona does make it hard for him at times...specially when she spilled atta on him. That was too clumsy. Not to mention speaking back to him and calling him by a name.

But she does say sorry and tries to make up for her mistake.

I just don't find it amusing when male leads treat the female leads disrespectfully. Hopefully with the cake episode CVs will bring the 'changes' in both of them. She will be more modest and understanding, and he will be more respectful towards her.😊

When he has money and power, he shouldn't be hiding from any khatri, he doesn't want any revenge, but if khatri wants to again mess up with him, Dev should not move back.

Coming sona, he has been acting selfish. He just ruined the career of young nutritionist just because his mom. He should not misuse his power on less fortunate people, when sona said she doesn't want to be private nutritionist, he should find someone else. When she said no means no.

Working at his house is like just earning money, no job satisfaction. Dev cant give her promotion Or higher status Or any certificate? Dealing with different patient would give her more experience. She is just wasting her time sitting with one crabby old woman who doesn't care about her own health.

Doctor can just write down a prescription or diet plan, if patient doesn't follow it, it's not duty of doctor to run behind patience and forcefully make him/her follow it. Anyone would prefer to write down 100 prescription in a day sitting in a hospital and get just 20000 , than to just waste entire day behind behind an irritating old woman probably in her 50s who has been told 100 times that oil and masala food is not good for you, still she would eat it on every possible opportunity. At least in hospital she won't get blame if any of her patient doesn't follow diet plan intentionally. Here, she (sona) is answerable if ishwari intentionally plan to fall ill.

Sona has accepted job just because there was financial problem at her home and she failed to find any other job.

Dev needs to understand sona is not always in fault and his mom is not flawless.

Agree even sona is not acting like a professional, but whatever has happened with her job and career, she has every right to get angry.

Your take on Khatri is interesting. I never thought it that way.

Agree on Sona's behavior 100%. On top of it I feel sad when she says to Dev's mom let me do the work na. I take so much money. Let's see if CVs try to redeem Dev's character now.😊

Sona is indeed very nice and someone said it is unrealistic to see her fall for someone so harsh and cruel towards her. What I can say about this is by quoting Shakespeare.

"Love looks not with the eyes but with the mind and therefore is winged Cupid painted blind."

Sona will see the inner Dev. The one who did anything for his mom and she will heal him with his love. At least thats what I'm getting from this concept. And that is why it is bringing a new shade of love. She will become his backbone, his support system and his everything and will transform him but when it comes to his Mom, he will not disobey her.

Well said. But it is too cliched storyline. There have been multiple such love stories where the male lead is shown as rough and unkind to the female lead and slowly changes with love from the female lead. But Dev comes across as a gentleman, so I don't understand CV's portrayal of him as rude and unkind towards Sona. She is working in his home, taking care of his mom, he should be courteous to her.

@Shruthi- well-written and well-articulated.
@Bold - Yes it makes a lot of sense that Dev is emotionally scarred but himself not aware of it. After reading your analysis, and Anna's, Angel's and Lovely_Lady's, I feel that Dev is perhaps not even aware that he is being rude to Sona. He thinks Sona is here to take care of his mom and it is his duty to ensure Sona does not neglect his mom. So basically his rudeness arises from a scarred psyche which always puts him in the defensive and always makes him react to a situation as a reflex action. He thinks he needs to be in control otherwise things will slip. And in his zeal to protect his family from the hardships and emotional scars they received in their childhood, he sometimes crosses the limt, albeit unintentionally.

OK Mr. Dev Dixit. I give you the benefit of doubt here. I hope you give your lady love her due respect and all the love she deserves in the future.😊
