The top scenes that I had enjoyed the most:

- when aaru cried saying aayi walked toward her mother but her biological mother stopped her. This simple gesture tell us how much aaru love tulsi and how she depend on her mother to comfort her and tell that everything is going be okay. Her face was contorted in way that she was about to burst in tears after finding out her own grandmother didn't love her and used her to revenge the raos. Poor aaru she is usually so strong but when her grabdmother rejected her and her grandfather didn't want her, she found out her whole identity had been a lie it was her mother Tulsi aaru yelled out for and wanted to go for comfort as she knew only her mother could make it better. She knew her mother's love for her wasn't a lie. Tulsi had her arms out ready to comfort her beti - even after she heard from Kumu that aaru didn't her beti and that simple gesture from tulsi to aaru tell us for tulsi aaru was her beti no matter what. The shock aaru and tulsi felt when Pav held Aaru's arm suddenly the reality about the truth swap sank in their heads, aaru slowly turn her attention from Pav to Tulsi staring at her mother tulsi helplessly with tearful eyes imploring to her mother as If to say help mum I don't want to be here poor aaru looked stuck and like she didn't like the situation she was in. I can't help but see aaru as a child who didn't want to settle in nursery for the first day at that moment. While aaru was begging to tulsi through her eyes and facial expressions that speak in volume to take her away from this mess - but tulsi looking at Pav's hold on her beti looked shocked, shattered and numb. No matter what this scene was brilliantly played by Sana and Jaya they have portrayed Aradhya and Tulsi's relationship very beautifully. Hope will continue to see more scenes between them.

- the way Mr and Mrs Shashwat Rao immediately ran as in an attempt to stop aryan from leaving them was heartbreaking. PAvitra cried out aryan's name and her arm was thrown in the air as if to bring aryan back to them. Of course PVR stop them with his threat on attempt to kill them if they tried to stop aryan from leaving. Aryan staring at them and them to aryan when Kumu took him away from what once was his home and family. This scene show the real love aryan's parents had toward him even after hearing that aryan is the son of the family they hate - their love for their son never dies for them he is still their beta no matter what - for them he is still Aryan Shashwat Vididayar Rao.

- the way tulsi spoke with her aayi Kumu - she spoke words that was coming from her heart. She was angry that Kumu had played around with their kids' lives that even the parents didn't know which child was theirs. Loved the way tulsi had said that aaru is her beti for life and nothing could change that.

- the way Shashwat stood up against his father on the behalf of his wife and daughter was epic! He had very rightly said that this difficult situation was not aaru or aryan or tulsi or Pavitra fault. It's was Kumu's! He said she should be punish for her deeds - this spoke his anguish and grief about this messed up situation. He held his daughter and move her away from PvR qucikly shielding her from his father demonstrated his automatic and endless love for his daughter - he accepted her no matter what even though Kumu did all those deeds and swapped the kids with the intention that Aaru's own family will not be able to love her as she lived with the devadasis which they hate eveything about it - thus Kumu planned them seeing their daughter as devasdi but that backfired when aaru own parents did something that they never ever did which is to stand up and fight against PvR's injustice treatment toward them and their youngest daughter. When Pavitra confessed to Shashwat and confirm that aaru is our beti twice and them shielding her against PvR allow them to reunite as a couple and for the first time we saw husband and wife coming togther as one and can be good parents. They love all of their kids. But it's aaru who truly brought her parents together as one for the first time ever and together - they are unstoppable against PvR. Hope to see more of these scenes.

- tulsi and aryan's scene was good and it's was very honest reaction from both mother and son. A mother admitted she feel blessed that he is her son but her heart still need Aradhya - the daughter who she rasied with her heart and soul. Aradhya is the daughter who motivate tulsi everyday in her life to live when her marriage broke down. Aradhya was the reason tulsi had lived till now and now both aryan and Aradhya are her life no matter what. A mother who love both of her kids. A son and a daughter. Aryan spoke to tulsi with respect but is unable to hide his feeling for aayi who raised him and love him with all her heart. Saw a similarity in mother and son here since Tulsi love the daughter of Raos as her own daughter. Aryan love the Malkin of Raos as his own mother. Both mother and son (aryan and tulsi) love both mother and daughter (Pavitra and Aradhya) - it's was bittersweet fact! Hope we will see more scenes betwen aryan and with Shashwt and Pavitra too who he regard as his parents.

- the way Shashwat and Pavitra attempted to make Aaru comfortable in their home and pleaded to her emotionally not to leave them and stay with them even though their daughter is married! But they have missed so many years of her life so want to get know her and make new memories with her as their daughter and start their lives afresh. loved the way Shashwat and Pavitra caress their beti - they were emotional but happy to accept her as their daughter. Let not forget Aradhya's parents did feel the connection toward their daughter in the beginning of KD series and aaru to them when she came to the Raos mansiom as a bahu. Now the truth is out all of them probably understood why they felt the way they did since they are her parents and aaru is their daughter even though at the time they didn't know that. Thus it was believable why the Shashwat and Pavitra had accepted her as theirs quickly. Pavitra had also expressed her sadness that aryan isn't with her anymore but one can see she love Aradhya as her daughter the way she suddenly hug her daughter to her. We saw a mother in Pavitra a mother who love both her nuture and nature children. While aryan did speak with Tulsi - aaru still haven't said a word to her parents. She was shocked and numb - her silent spoke her disappointment that tulsi isn't her biological mother. But can't wait to see what she would make of her own father who she wishes to have for so many years. A father who would accept her as herself and I never forgot the disappointment she felt when she thought Mahant was her father. It seem right for Shashwat to be that father not Mahant. Can't wait to see how she will eventually bond with her real parents too.

It's was blockbuster epsiode and I loved it! Please do share your views too.

Finally, got some time for my own. Every point has already being elaborated. Just wanted to mention a few bits & pieces, which I felt while watching.

Kumudini, the master manipulator !!!! Her one move 21 years earlier and it's a checkmate for her. What she did was simply disgusting. It literally turned the lives of everyone involved upside-down. But, to be honest, it was not actually a curse for everyone. And that's why, I suppose, we can relate to her. It had literally saved Pavitra from being thrown out of her sasuraal for being a failure to produce a male heir for the Raos. Being the invertebrate he is, Shashwat would definitely have bowed down before PVR for a second marriage otherwise. Aaradhya having a free will to live her life on her own terms, thanks to this swap only. Aryan, as well, did not loose anything as far as his upbringing is concerned. Now the boasting Kumudini was doing regarding "meri parvarish" that was entirely false as it was Tulsi's. It has to be agreed that Kumudini has literally done an Ekalavya penance throughout these 21 years. I mean she was so focused on her ultimate goal, that is to extract revenge from PVR, even a little girl who has loved and respected her wholeheartedly, could not awaken any attachment for the latter.
Indira Krishnan 👏👏👏 !!! I had watched her as the FL in one of the series' being aired on DD in the late nineties. And then now. Must admit her performance graph has remained the same 👏 👏 ... She is literally the vertebra of this series.

PVR, the ultimate loser, a typical byproduct of an extremely orthodox patriarchal society. Did not even take a moment to throw his "sher" out of his villa, after being enlightened with the truth. And it was expected. He is real consistent. I so wish that the creatives just don't leave him unscratched by the virtue of being an elder. What he has executed, he must face the resultant chin music as well.

Pavitra, I simply can't relate to her. Well, she actually did go after Aryan, when Kumudini was dragging him with her. But one bark from PVR and she obliged !!! She has been the Mother of this boy for last 21 years; yet she failed to take a stand for him !! She is now all lovey-dovey with Aaradhya only because she has suddenly discovered that the latter is her own blood. I doubt whether her general outlook has at all changed. I wish the creatives show her interaction with Tulsi at least once. Anyways, Pavitra must have a proper repentance track as well.

Tulsi, others have mentioned her emotions so well. I don't have anything to add.

Aryan, the only thing I would like to mention is that what goes around comes around. Actually I'm talking about his 24X7 devdaasi chants, not in distant past.

Aaradhya, I failed to relate when she had decided to stay back in that mad house and agreed to go for the same "shuddhikaran" ritual, for which she had herself created so much hullabaloo when Aryan was being forced to go for the same. Leaving aside every other logic, she forgot that this very ritual is an insult to her Aayi herself. Now this new drama of her insulting Tulsi by calling her devdaasi. I truly imagine that she is doing that with only good intentions; but even then, name calling to her own mother, in fact any mother, is not at all done. I was so disgusted when Aryan did the same thing during that factory kidnapping track. Hope the creatives edit the scene.

Great analysis.Yesterdays epi was so engaging all 30 plus mins of it. You felt everyones reaction the shock, hurt, pain , everything. Kumu rocked she might have done a very horrible thing but what she said to pvt was so true look what he did to aaru, its just says that u shouldnt treat people badly coz karma comes back to you. All the bad things he did it was done to his own grandchild n she suffered for his actions.
The parents i felt really bad for they had no clue they were robbed of their children n they still love both equally. Pavitra has always been grey shaded but since she found out aarus her u can feel she is human n her pain for her child. She is just stuck in a situation where she n shashwat can only live by pvrs rules n now aaru will have to as well. Tulsi got a double shock kumus betrayal n the fact aaru isnt hers but aryan is. I dont know how she will move past this. Shashwat stood up for aaru lets c how long that lasts, he does love his daughters a lot but always gets shutdown by pvr. Wish we saw more of gayu i wanna c her interaction with aaru now and where is the missing other older sis?lol the mystery continues.

Now aara poor things thier entire existence has come into question, aryan now from a kd family he will have to face many issues n as markhand n banwari mentioned chimajis reluctance in eoimg the shuddi n calling him rang rasiya his relationship with tulsi n aryan is definitely gonna come into play. Aaru the por girl faced rejection from all sides, first pvr, then kumu, aryan in his own turmoil couldnt do anything n tulsi and aaru scen with pavitra was so sad like what should she do both mothers wanting her with them. Some fell aaru should not have agreed for the shuddi but what could she do her parents were asking her something for the first time she couldnt reject them. Aaras last scene both remembering each other n aryan was in aarus room i wanna see aaru in aryans pls lol
How funny was kumu calling out pavitra and saying i keep an eye on u lol and the way she just dragged aryan n threw the paternity test lol she called pvr goonga pvr and made fun of him getting a heart attack. Im shocked pvr didnt snatch the gun and shoot her lol pvrs ego will never change. How useless were those deshmukhs lol

Once again a great epi.

Gr8 analysis as usual Mary .. But for me the best part is kumu nm.. N cn I say she overshadowed every other character in the show .. The dialogues of kumu -- especially with respect to ' khoon ya parvarish ' n aabha s attitude towards females 👏👏👏.. The casting dorctor has picked the right actor for each character .. Be it Indira for kumu, uday tikekar for PVR, or be it sana n shravan as aara, even the supporting cast like naku, gayatri , banwari n markhand are all exceptional ...
Heartbreak ws portrayed so well by shravan , sana , jaya n shweta , it felt like they were experiencing the pain n along with them we too !

Looking fwd to aaru's interaction with rao family n Aryans with his .. Especially mahant .. Aara r uniting n they Wil bring the changes in PVR n kumu ..
Let's see hw the makers proceed .. After giving such a fantastic episode my expectations frm the serial has risen up ! 😃

aaradhya is normal coz of her upbringing and v can say aryan is normal coz of blood lineage so dats wat kumudini showed PVR yesterday dat nature and nurture she won in everycase, and in that just one dialogue she justified all her acts whether good or bad done in last 21 years, shes master player,

Hello 😊

I'm new to the forum, love KD right now (used to watch it when it started, stopped somewhere along the way and re-started again) 😆 This is a well-written and superb review, dear! 👏 Hope you don't mind me jumping in 😉

Apart from the obvious one which was the confrontation between Kumudini and PVR and the unravelling of the truth, I just loved these two scenes. They were heartbreaking, everyone's expressions were superb - you could feel their turmoil, distress and helplessness. I felt so bad for the parents. On one hand, Shashwat and Pavitra who couldn't do anything but watch how Kumu took away their son right in front of them. Pavitra pointed this even out when she convinced Aaru for the shuddhi, that she had raised Aryan for so many years, loved him and all it took was one moment and she lost him. And Tulsi, you could see in her eyes how she was aching to take Aaru into her arms and comfort her daughter and herself. Yet, she was unable to because Aaru's biological mother gripped on to her daughter, unwilling to let her go into someone else's arms, not when she has just found her. Tulsi's look when she looked at Pavitra's hand holding on to Aaru...

Aryan and Aaradhya - what to say about them? They are lost. Completely and utterly lost and need time to come to terms with all of this. Aryan voiced his inner turmoil perfectly when he asked Kumu, "Whom should Aaradhya and I call Mom - the one who birthed us or the one who raised us?" And he was, in some way, unable to really look at Tulsi, I noticed. Even when they talked (amazing scene, as well) Aryan wasn't really looking at her. It was obvious that although, Aryan and Tulsi talked whereas Aaru is unable to talk and voice her thoughts, yet, both of them are in the same boat: lost. I don't blame Aaru for the shuddhi, either. She is in shock and emotional as are her parents, and I can understand why Shashwat and Pavitra insisted she go along with this- they just want to keep her close to them.

I am not sure what to make of PVR, lol. He behaved like everyone expected him to yet, it was heartbreaking how he pushed Aryan away. The look on Aryan's face, aww. And he won't accept Aaru either, not that easily. One has the blood of KD in him and the other was raised by KD - it's scary to see that hatred can run so deep that a person can totally ignore feelings which had been there and had grown over two decades. Although, PVR had adored Aryan, all it took was this revelation (which was no one's fault, at all, except Kumu's) to make him forget it. Makes you wonder whether he has truly ever loved Aryan or has simply loved the fact that Aryan was "the son of the house". As for Aaru... I must say, I have to put Kumu in the same boat as PVR right now as in I don't know what to make of her in regards to Aaru. Did she ever love her or not? Is it true, like everyone believes right now, that all Aaru was ever for her was a pawn she could use to exact her revenge? Can someone really stay totally unattached to a child they had been around for years? And Aaru was numb with shock upon seeing Kumu's behaviour. I'm sure it hurt her a lot when Kumu called her "ye ladki" as if she was nothing to her, a stranger.

I hope they explore this more. I want to see Tulsi and Aaru interact after this revelation, but also see how Aaru will do in her "new" family. Likewise, I want them to show Aryan interact with Shashwat and Pavitra but also, how Aryan's relationship with his biological father will develope.

They could also give us a scene where Aryan and Aaradhya break down in front of and seek comfort from the parents/mothers who have raised them 😳

On another note, although what Kumu did was wrong it did have its good sides. I mean, as she pointed out, had PVR found out that Pavitra gave birth to another daughter, PVR would have thrown them both out, maybe Gayatri along, and then what? And since there are people (Deshmukhs, lol) after the property of the Raja, had the wrong people found out about Tulsi having had a son, Aryan would have been in danger. Makes you wonder whether revenge was really all Kumu had on her mind when she exchanged the kids 😆 In a way, she hit several targets at once. But what can you say, that woman is a genius! 😉 I hope we get to see more of Kumu's thoughts and emotions. She has faith that everything will turn out alright, eventually, huh.

Again, great review! ⭐️

Hi Amina-Zahra

I am Mary, thanks for your review, please do join in this forum more often 😊

I agree PVR and Kumu are most cold and complex characters, their hatred for each other's family ran so deep that they are blinded to see their part had lead to the chaos truth about the birth switch. You are right what Kumu did - does have its advantages but its was also wrong of her to do so. I have once said in one of my posts that PVR is a bully and he only like idea of having a male heir in Aryan and he wanted Aryan to become the man that he had created in his mind. But you can see he never really love or understood Aryan as a person. When aryan failed to get Aaru's signature in the divorce papers - PvR mocked Aryan for being weak and not using any force on his wife when on the courtary aryan was being a true and honourable gentleman by waiting when she is ready to hear him out. But PVR never truly understood humans' sediments or understand the value of a woman's role in the family. When he find out Aryan wasn't his pota - he didn't hesitate to quickly reject him - it's was clear he never love aryan - he just love the idea of having a mighty male heir in form of Aryan.

Kumu was no different too. She claimed that she gave aaru an education and good morals but that wasnt from Kumu that was from Aaru's own mother Tulsi, which Kumu just took the credits. Now Kumu had intended to use aaru as a pawn from the beginning but didn't want aaru to feel that otherwise her revenge aganisnt PvR wouldn't be successful so I would imagine that she was pretending to be nice in front of aaru and acting all that time. She did it for so long that it's became natural for her to act in front of Tulsi and Aaru. But while acting - she had never forgotten the very fact that aaru is PVR's granddaughter and the daughter of Shashwat Rao - the two men who Kumu hated the most that fact was enough for her to remain unattached from aaru. She was yearning to see the horror of Rao family's faces that their own bloodline had actually lived with the devadasis and she knew that PVR would never get past this! Thus unable to accept her as his poti this was part of her mastermind plan. So like PVR - she too never love aaru simply because she knew aaru wasn't hers and is the daughter of her enemy's family. PVR never love aryan as a person or understood him - he just love the idea of having a strong male heir! At the end of the day Kumu and PVR are no different from each other lol.

Mary, a wonderful analysis on a wonderful episode!! That should have been the 100th episode. One could honestly take their eyes off the screen. Kumudini without a doubt was the star of yestrday's episode as it was all about her, rather than everyone's else feelings. PVR got to vent a bit but not as much as we were expecting, and well i would have preferred more than just the shocked faces but having said that, i will not take away anything from the episode.

I liked how Pavitra went after Aryan, it showed that just like Tulsi, she too had genuine feelings for Aryan and his reality did not defer those feelings for her. I liked the question Aryan asked Tulsi about whom he should call 'maa'. Kumudini was told yesterday that her daughter was dead for her but she was so much embroiled into her own world that she failed to understand the consequences of her actions. However, we must remember as audiences that Kumudini helped a marriage that night, ie that of Pavitra's. She would have been disowned had it not been for her. She did what she felt was appropriate to extract her revenge for what PVR did to her and her daughter.

What I also liked yesterday was Kumudini's repetition of how many times Deshmukhs tried to kill her and Tulsi. They aint getting their hands on anything now, despite PVR's soft spot for Poorva.😆
