Mary 👏.Pavitra is monochromatic with a single shade - "I-simply-and-absolutely-hate-Devdaasis". So, if the creatives don't change her drastically her reactions & dynamics are very predictable once the swap truth is revealed.
Shashwat had dragged a lady (doesn't matter what profession she has been forced to) by her hair in front of a whole village society on his dad's order blindly. So, he is anyhow tarnished. During PVR's heart-attack drama, even knowing his daddy in-and-out, he let himself being played along. Not once he tried to have a logical conversation with PVR in order to save Aaradhya, whom he used to call his beti, from a broken marriage. When Tulsi had tried to put some sense in him in the hospital, he verbally abused her. No shame in him. It's a reality that Aaradhya has been real lucky that she was swapped, otherwise her life would have been doomed.
Respect is something which needs to be earned, it can't be received as alms. On Indian TV, it's the norm that the mahaan lead(s) has(ve) to respect any tom-dick-harry by the virtue of his/her age, even when that person is devil re-incarnated. Seems that Aaradhya's character is also getting herself in the same league.
Regarding Aaradhya, she is being mellowed down drastically. She had mentioned, during the marriage, that Aryan would tarsaofy for her love. I had expected a tougher version of her with a no-nonsense attitude; but seems she is converting into a cry-baby & a sacrificial lamb with mahaanta flowing in her veins instead of blood .
Regarding Aryan, he had behaved like what he is doing currently earlier as well (I mean his language); reminds me of his attitude & behavior from him trying to burn Kumudini's house till he misunderstands Aardhaya having cancer. But that time he was using his brain instead of another girl against her. I can understand his anger, but not to an extent that he can send payment for a girl to her Maa & granny, accuse her & her clan of luring men day-in & day-out and above all, forget that his own actions have landed him where he is now !!
In this pathetic state of affairs it's not surprising that PVR now seems busy doing kitchen politics. But he was better off with his antics & actions earlier; a real match for Kumudini, who seems to be the only saving grace at the moment. I really miss their interactions, which were one of the USPs of this series.
