This is a sensitive issue for me, as I have had more than one person close to me suffer through the ordeal of finding out that their unborn baby was deformed/had major heart defects.

I think that directors should draw a line somewhere and stop showing people stooping to such levels. I am tired of the scheming, particularly when it comes to issues about pregnancy and baby. 😔

I too use to ask the same question whenever I see serials/movies with so many unimaginable scenes until recently I heard about the tortures my good fren went thru in the hands of her MIL and her hubby. From a good family background here she landed in India married to man of different religion. She was promised that she need not convert but allow to keep her religion. Once her marriage ceremoney was over everything else took a turn to the worst. Her money, jewelleries, costly attires and even her expensive laptop were stolen from her. When her MIL carries "tales" to her good for nothing husband he beats her up so badly without listening to her side of the story. She bled from her nose, mouth and ended up with torn lower lips and ear lobes. He beats her up whenever his mother instructs. They had no mercy on her that she even attempted suicide by consuming sleepings pills and normal pain killers. Now she is back here and her baby taken away from her too.

I cannot go into further details of the things they had done to her but then when I compare it with Nethra's scheme in giving poison to either kill off or to have Lakshmi's child deformed is nothing much to be shocked about. Worst things are happening around us which we are not aware of coz we are not going thru it and sometimes I feel if God is really watching over this happenings???.😭 ...

Btw my fren's MIL does her daily prayers without fail even if she forgets to eat. Is she asking for forgiveness from God for her evil deeds and thinking that after each prayer her sins are cleansed so that she can carry with her next set of tortures?

My young fren is so naive and innocent and she got trapped coz she was too much in love and swallowed the empty promises made to her by her then boyfren....😕

Good news Laksmi is ending. Thanks Isaitamil. Although I hope it is not a faux report. Like they kept informing us that Kolangal is ending in May. But from what I heard, that is not so true. 😡

Sue I am sorry to hear your friend's predictment. I hope she is alright and pray that she gets her baby back. You are correct - about abuse to women/kids.
