Jagdu, good points. Well, we can't say bigamy is being condoned here as Jeeva was an unwitting partner in the pregnancy and the episode took place before his marriage to Lakshmi. (Sue, still seems to have problems accepting that a heavily drunken man could have impregnated Nethra and is convinced Arjun is the father and he is pulling a fast one now. Hey, perhaps Nethra stole Jeeva's donation to a sperm bank ??😃) But Nethra's behaviour and similar behaviour on the part of her mother earlier are clearly reprehensible. Having a child out of wedlock is of course unacceptable to mainstream Indians(though not illegal). I presume those who are disgusted may have walked out on the serial by now. Roe vs Wade isn't an issue here as Nethra has consciously chosen to have the baby.

Thanks for the update. If only this JJ comes out clean with Lakshmi, he could avoid all this gross scenes. I think they are going to show Laksh leaving JJ and make it on her own!
