A message to all our regulars from Roja

OK, here is what I have in mind folks - let me be frank and open - this fight over the stars and ego trips are just becoming too much - and all those stars are busy making money. They do not have a care about what a bunch of people in IF think about them!!! I hope u will agree with what I say and if some new members want to vent out their feelings, let them do so - they have the rights to do that - but as an old member known to most of u here, may I request all our regular members to keep off from posting ANY message??? Please keep reading all the posts in this thread but please do not react. If we do not post film reviews or song reviews for a week nothing will go wrong - the earth will still revolve, the stars will make money, our daily bread will still reach our mouths - Roja goes down on her knees and requests all the regulars to exercise absolute silence for a week - let us get together and stop this. Hope all of u will take it in the right perspective and co-operate with the development team - if this continues we run the risk of this whole thread getting closed eternally - And I am sure all of you know the effort put in by Atina to get our own Tamil section. Thanks for patiently going through my tirade folks. Please be rest assured that the development team is working all the time to make this place an amicable one. It is not my intention to hurt /upset any one here and if any one word written here by me sends out that vibe, Roja

If Mahathma Gandhi can get us our freedom by his Satyagraha, can't we bring around peace and happiness in a forum by applying the same technique??? The stars do not need friends, they just need fans but in IF, we seek friendship - which can be termed as one of the best things in the world. We do not want to offend a friend. We can still discuss, express our opinions but we need not impose - every one has a right to their opinion and let us respect that. Just imagine a heated discussion with friends ,,with a cup of coffee in your hands....you will appreciate that all this biting is meaningless. Our life is really short, let us respect ourselves and people around us.

Ok, now that we have got in to this let me just tell u this - what is right to you need not be right to all - where is the necessity to force your opinion on others?? u express yours and they express theirs - period. U think that you are knowledgeable about movies and the others could think the same about themselves!!!! And respect is some thing which is given by others, we never ask for it. Our behaviour must expose our personality to others - and then they give the respect - I do not know about others but as for me if some one disrespects me, I always think that there is some thing wrong with me - I analyze myself and try to change myself - because cultivating or changing others is not my business - I always strive to better myself - and a life time is not enough , believe me, I have still not reached the 50% mark - to reach 100% I have to request God to extend my expiry date!!!!
