* Chandramukhi II ? Nayanthara is all set to play ghost in Suryamukhi.
*Jyothika presented a mug to Surya which had a picture of their daughter, Diya with the caption" My dad has a part-time job - that's me!!"
* Ajith is NOT making Billa 2 (Thank God for small mercies).
* Nayantara has refused to act in the Telugu version of Billa.
* Malavika celebrated her valaikkapu in Mumbai last month.
*Bharath will have Seval released for Deepavali followed by Arumugam for Ponggal.
*Nayanthara will be sharing the lead with Karthi Sivakumar under the direction of Lingusamy and with Surya under the direction of KS Ravikumar.

Aegan to inaugurate on Vijaya Dasami

Aegan the film being directed by Raju Sundaram with Ultimate Star Ajith and Nayanthara is getting ready for a Diwali release. This is a film being anticipated by Ajith's fans to a great extent. It has been said that Aegan is being inspired from Shah Rukh's Mein Hoon Na.

Since the Aegan team is currently

shooting in Switzerland, the audio of the film will be released in stores on 9th October, which happens to be Vijaya Dasami. Yuvan Shankar has scored music for the film and Kollywood circles feel that the music will be a hit among the audience. Ayngaran International has produced Aegan.

Rajini's fans make a move

After painting Coimbatore red with wall-posters heralding the entry of actor Rajinikanth into politics, his fans in Kovai on Monday launched a political party in an attempt 'to put pressure' on the 'Superstar' to take the political plunge.

Announcing the party's name as Desiya Dravidar Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (DDMMK), they also released the party flag in red, white and black - featuring Rajini's face inside a shining star.

About the new outfit and flag, Rajni Babu, who is a councillor in Madukkarai says that the party had been launched only to impose pressure on their hero to foray politics. We have made this flag and outfit to represent ourselves in the world of politics and wish our leader to make his announcement soon.

Sources close to the actor said, ?Rajini was scheduled to discuss the issue of entering politics and starting a party with his fans from 12th to 18th October.?

The meeting will take place amid expectations by his fans that he will follow the footsteps of Chiranjeevi, says one of his close friends.

I hope Rajini will soon announce his state in politics.......pressure & expectations are high after chiranjeevi's entry in politics last month.lets wait & watch the show.

I hope Rajini never enters politics.

One recalls how the electorate treated MGR. A man who stood for morals and was in firm control, the press heaped garbage on him. Politicians had some ethics during his time.

Today skirt chasers, criminals, torch bearers, uneducated bureaucrats etc. just come to loot the public. The power of one person cannot halt corruption.

Good luck to Chiranjeevi. He's about to take on the power brokers, separatists, thugs and thieves. Even if he comes to power it is not likely that our state will benefit.

Thanks for the info Ambi.

I am two minded about Rajni entering politics. If he enters politics, then he won't be acting anymore. That is sad. However, India needs people like him to put those thugs/theives in their respective places. There lots of things that need to be addressed in India, like poverty, unemployment, brain drain, etc. If Rajni can rectify this, India or rather TN will be a better place to live. But then again, if Rajni scumb to "if you can't beat them, then join them" attitude, then there is nothing can be done.
