W omen's Day is round the corner so we thut why not discuss about the state of women in Tamil film industry. Though its a male dominated world women like director PRIYA.V & lyricist like THAMAARAI r making a small mark in their own way. BHAVADHARANI, produced music for film directed by revathi.
So we will discuss here about these wonderful women in Tamil cine industry & also films were women r not shown as just glam dolls. Films tat showed the true power & face of women. ok Gals we just thut & made a thread. Making this thread a success is in ur hands.

since i have given the title as magalir mattum i will start my views with tat. It is an wonderful film i wud say & a laugh riot showing various probs of women👏

I cud never forget Indira too starring anuhassan & directed by suhasini. 👏

Hmm...I think yesteryears heroines had better scoop to act than todays heroines....they are only used for glams sequvence and songs.

even today i wud say films directed by priya. V like kanda naal mudalai & kanampochi ennada had strong heroines👏

so only i saw more female directors shud come to show women as they are😉

i suggest u galz see mitr my friend (english) & phir milange(hindi) directed by revathi

mitr my friend - deals with middle age couple problem

Phir milange- is on aids issue, only a women can handle it in gentle way as revathi has done.

I am talking abt our famous tamil actress revathi here😉

well i wud love to talk abt lyricist thamarai today

its ok even it seems like a monolouge here with only melz & aish making a appreance thanks gals for it🤗

thamarai made an impact on me when i felt the songs sang on women's point of view was not doing justice

she came & did justice in vasegara , ondra renda asaigal & many songs

if felt yes only a gal in love will feel exactly the same when i heard her lyrics☺️
