How many times has Abhimanyu's manhandling being shown countered?

Haven't watched the episode yet but did see the segment of the scene when Abhimanyu ties Chamki to the bed. Apparently, he thought there could be no other way to "control" Chamki who keeps on throwing knives which may hurt someone.

But as promptly as they showed Chamki being forcibly tied to bed, how many times have they shown Abhimanyu's manhandling being countered? Not even once if am not wrong.

Again in the precap Abhimanyu is forcibly taking Chamki somewhere on his jeep. I guess he must have likewise manhandled Ragini too and his parents never bothered to correct him.

Right from the first episode Abhimanyu is manhandling Geetanjali. How I wish the next time that ass of a man tries to manhandle her, she just kicks him hard in between the legs.

And it's a sincere request to the makers kindly STOP PROMOTING MANHANDLING. It ain't funny or cool or whatever you guys think it is. It should be simply shunned from showing. Violence against women is rampant in India, if we can't do anything to stop it, we should atleast not do anything to unwittingly promote it.

Maybe Gitanjali can't but can Chamki just give him one hard slap and leave him in the jungle to die.

SP and makers need to go watch the ending of the movie Arth. Kudos to them if they can incorporate such an ending here.

You r right...Abhi always manhandles geetu...from day 1...and it's not cool...but I won't expect her to kick him there for it anytime soon...coz when in a tv show a male lead is shown manhandling the heroine...there r 2 types of body languages the girl shows...

one is she really is resisting, not liking it and want him to stop...

and second is yeah she is resisting and on the outside seems not to want him close, but the resistance is not real coz her body language says she has given him the right to do it...now I dont know how this happens...I dont support jerks either...but this happens..

Now I dont know abt the precap scene, bt all the scenes b4 that...geetu falls in the 2nd category... she was remembering him serving her breakfast in bed even as she is planning revenge...so dont expect her to kick him anytime soon...

SP has been running for years on such couples..so i don't think anything is gonna change coz trp aunties loves watching it..sour truth!!

So true..seriously abhimanyu deserves all this..I just hate him now. ...but WTH is geetu doing why can't she just come over past it's irritating me...u can't have soft corner for jerk like this 😡 and about precap I was confused..reality came out Dat she is Geetu? ???

Exactly...the way he was trying to force her in the jungle in precap was 😡😡disgusting...I think RV will save Geetu on time...

Abhi also said he wants to see who wins love or hatred...he is so cheap!

The precap was disgusting 🤢🤢🤢

So Abhimanyu was trying to get her to speak the truth by sexually intimidating her. Honestly even after an attempt to rape/sexual intimidation they show Geetanjali harbouring feelings for Abhimanyu then the writers are seriously screwed up in their heads 🤢

I just watched the episode. It was actually good sans the precap. For the first time actually I felt Geetanjali was wholeheartedly into her plan and wanted to avenge Abhimanyu.

The breakfast flashback scene, I think wasn't put to show that she has feelings for him still. More than that to me it came across as a thing of past which she was reminiscing in a way ki "main kya sochti thi par sach kuch aur hi nikla" (what I used to think but the reality was just something else) Not sure if am able to put it across well but that's how I perceived that scene.

I think the time for her to actively resist and give it back to his manhandling has arrived. And probably we won't be disappointed *fingers crossed*

A very thoughtful post. Agree with you.

I remember the conversation between Abhi and Geetu (when he returns) about how he's always shown his love towards her in this manner, and she's never had an issue with it. Geetu even acknowledged that. And that really got to me. Why should it be acceptable? Why should Geetu have considered it to be Abhi's way of showing affection? Hell no! It's warped.

Sadly viewers in general tend to like this kind of stuff. How many times over the years have we seen the hero drag the heroine around like a rag doll, or pin her to the wall in an aggressive manner? I've seen it countless times in many popular shows and it's always passed off as romantic.

The problem with Desi shows is that they glorify this kind of behaviour from the male lead. It makes him look "sexy." Yes, sounds pathetic but sadly this is what they sem to think 😆 otherwise they wouldn't encourage it! And the audience in general seem to lap it up.

Unfortunately Abhi won't be the last of the lot. There will be more like him. Shame!

If Geetu forgives Abhi after all the manhandling then SP fails as it says its trying to show women are strong and can do anything...
