Suspect #2 Rishabh

Rishabh Shekhari, a person who is the only male member in the entire Shekhari family at present...he although can't see...but has an awesome sense of analysing sounds (we still don't know whether he was blind right from the time of birth or was it a result of some accident later in his life) which he has mastered over the years. He is a strict disciplinarian who wants everyone and everything to be just perfect. He has a particular liking for the Rajput clan as he too belongs to this...he thinks that only Rajputs can keep their words and promises and anyone who belongs to a lower class, is looked down upon by him.

He doesn't own the family riches...everything is in Geetu's name...why we are still not aware...maybe bcoz Rishabh can't see or might be some other reason...we need to wait for this to be revealed. But he believes that he is the heir to the entire property and everything belongs to him. He has sacrificed many things in the past...may be also his love for the sake of family dignity. In this process, he hasn't got married yet (atleast we are sure that he doesn't have a wife and children at present. If anything happened in the past...its yet to be seen) he is bearing the burden of all the responsibilities alone and he feels so lonely because of this. He finds himself alone amidst so many members in this family.

Till now we have seen that he loves his sister Geetanjali to the core...she is the one who is the closest to his heart, he can go to any extent for her sake...we saw this when he accepted Abhimanyu as her husband though personally he hated him for loving his beloved sister, also when he accepted the adoption of Priyam into their family on her insistence and now ...he has agreed to be beside his sister in her search for the truth behind Abhimanyu's murder. He really can't see tears in her eyes and can't bear Geetu's doubts on him. He can do anything for her safety and well being.

Regarding his step sister Kavya, he is affectionate towards her as a brother but not to the same extent as Geetu. He personally doesn't like Chhoti Maa and taunts her time and again for belonging to a poor family and now even after being their family member for so many years...doesn't seem to have accepted her (its not shown what happened to his parents in the past).

He has a dark side too...RAGINI...a character who has been an integral part of his life in the past, who he probably loved dearly but is now dead and he repents for her death whenever he thinks about her. What was his relationship with Ragini? This still is a question we all are waiting to be answered...what happened to her in the past? why is everyone inspite of being aware of the incidents in the past are not telling anything to Geetu? Is Rishabh the one who was responsible for her death? This Ragini surely has a strong relationship with all the mysteries which are there behind the so called walls of the haveli...WE NEED TO WAIT AND WATCH FOR THE MYSTERY TO BE UNFOLD.

But if we think Rishabh to be the one behind all this masterplan going on...we really need to think many times over...

My take on this...

Rishabh might be directly or indirectly involved in Ragini's death...which he still repents at heart...we know this from his body language.

Someone related to Ragini has planned the entire plan to make Rishabh confess his crime in front of Geetu which she is totally unaware of...The person behind this is just using Geetu as a target against Rishabh...as everyone knows that how close these two are.

He being behind Abhimanyu's murder is the remotest of possibility as he would never do something which hurts his Geetu...we saw that wehen he asked RV about the safety of the injection as Geetu had given Priyam's responsibility to him.

He definitely wants Priyam to accept that he is lying and for this he scares him many times but he never wants to harm that child. He always tries to convince Geetu that Priyam is lying and Abhimanyu died in a car accident...may be fears that when she goes ahead with all the investigation, many more mysteries which are hidden might come to surface ...

All in all I feel that Rishabh is being targeted through this entire planning in the haveli..

I really liked this.

Rishabh is a mysterious character, with many layers to him.

He may be blind, but he can see more than all the others put together.

He is carrying some burden, some guilt, that is eating him away.

He has made sacrifices, which no one is aware of.

But, the polygraph machine did put quite a few question marks on his character -

He has caused harm to his sister (maybe indirectly).

He considers himself the owner of the royalty, irrespective of who owned it.

In spite of everything, I would'nt say he could be behind these happenings. And definitely he didn't kill Abhi. He is too proud a Rajput, to do things behind the back. if he wanted, he would've killed Abhi right on the day of mrg. He is not kind of person who back stabs. He may be arrogant, proud, rude but he has a sense of fairness and duty.

For sure, Rishabh is not behind Abhimanyu's supposed death but he definitely had commited something in the past.

I feel the show is more about Rishabh rather than Geetu or her love
