Does the producer/s have an aim in mind?

I was wondering that with how there is so much of a mystery behind whether this show is a supernatural/paranormal show or a psychological thriller, although the actors have denied the former, do you think this show was created to be a psychological thriller and that too with the aim of debunking the supernatural as a necessary explanation for the weird and inexplicable? What i mean is that india is a country that is highly religious where superstition still has a strong foothold, so maybe the show was created to laugh off indian superstitions and make people think that not everything is as it seems and that there is a logical answer to everything? Maybe it is ultimately trolling all the conservative and superstitious minded indian viewers like the saas-bahu watching aunties and mum's at home who never really seem to sway from watching saas-bahu/ family dramas/ naagin type supernatural shows, and dupe them into watching a show thinking it is supernatural and then drop a bomb on them like "LoooL! You thought wrong. No spirits, no punar-janam crap, just flat out mind games and a clever conspiracy. We got you to watch something different and out-of-the box with real good content for a change by tricking you into believing you're watching the same kind of supernatural content you are into".

hope it is planned beyond any crap of ghost or supernatural stuff..love to watch khidkitod suspense drama...jisko sochte sochte dimag pagal ho jaye n next epi ka wait ho..hope they will maintain our curiosity level n hope..
