its just being diplomatic - can u imagine pissing off either of the two screen divas?? he was deflecting that's all. even though i'm a hardcore sridevi fanatic, i would have boldly said madhuri is a better dancer, but sri a better actress. (now mad fans please don't jump - its just my opinion!!). as superstars, there really is no one like madhuri and sridevi. i noticed this esp this year at filmfare awards where pretty much all the actresses gave below par performances. in the early 90s when sri and madhuri were more active in movies, it was a really tough competition on who was better - eg Sridevi in Khuda Gawah or Mad in Beta. Nowadays, its like, ok, who didn't completely suck this year and has turned up at the function - lets give her the award!!
