Nitica, you know what a fan I am of your posts. Loved to read what you wrote.

But I just agree with you in some points... I agree that Rani is just a girl like you and me and that she also has a heart- a kind heart. But you know one doesn't see much of it. Let's say Shahrukh, even if he dislikes Amitabh Bachchan, he still behaves maturely and respects him. But what Rani did with Preity on KBC or in the last season's KWK, this just wasn't right. I like Preity a lot and I also think Rani is a good actress, but when stars are giving an interview, you're watching THEM, not a character. You're watching them as they really are, as they talk, think etc.

When I watch Rani, I only get the impression that she's VERY cold... Aishwarya and Rani both are in the same category for me. they have hearts, they are kind, they are normal girls like us who have emotions... but still, they're VERY cold.

Rani was never like what she has become. She is quiet, silent and cold today.... because she is at the top and all alone. Inspite of being a Rani fan, I do not approve of her behaviour with Preity on KBC or KWK but then it's old pain . Rani slipped - guess, she is tired of acting Miss.Perfecton. Even she is human. As for Preity, even she has done her share of mistakes.

Rani was just stating what she believed... she didn't necessarily mean it in a bad way.. And right after Rani said that Preity talks too much, she said "otherwise she's really wonderful." and even before that, she said very nice things about Preity.

I dont get it. Why people make a big issue of Rani stating her opinion about Preity. Hirithik did so too, didn't he?

Didn't he say that "Jadoo only spoke when it was spoken to" when Karan asked Hirithik in Rapid Fire round to choose between Preity and Jadoo.

Why wasn't Hirithik's opinion dragged like this😕... whatever...

I just do NOT think that saying someone speaks too much is such a bad thing. Even Preity tells very proudly that she's called Basnati of Bollywood...

Anyways, lovely post... I don't have any favourites from film/tv. Whoever acts good I become a fan of him/her.

BUT its true that a person's behaviour is a key factor in getting respect from others. I saw interviews of Ashwarya and I did NOT like her at all though I think she is average-good actress. No doubt she is beautiful but she is not that great an actor.

Someone above wrote about Chalte Chalte and Aish/Rani being the first choice. As far as I know Chalte Chalte was first offered to Ash BUT because of her personal life problems and Salman coming to sets and throwing tantrums SRK HAD TO change the main protagnist of the film... he was a producer, right? Everyone thinks about themselves...Rani does, Ash does... then what's wrong with SRK offering Rani the same role when he knew that with Ash the film was going to go nowhere...I would have done the same thing if I was in his place...

Everyone has made mistakes, be it Rani, Priety or Aish...everyone has and I don't think its good digging up old issues (I wonder why people dig up old issues even in real life😕)...

Chalte Chalte, Kal Ho Na Ho and all other films are old issues now so lets talk about present and talk about things from present because if we say something about 1 actor's past others can dig up their old issues as well.

Rani has gone through a lot and so have a number of actors in Bollywood...so we should respect them and if we see one bad thing in them, why not see a good thing about them?😊

She is misunderstood by media. She is definitely one of the best actress Indian Film Industry has and she did it all by herself though she came from a film family background.

I remember seeing the ad for Raja ki Aayegi Baraat and my sis saying.. this girl is going to do wonders in movies. And then.. she signed some wrong movies... but hey, she is a wonderful actress today and people think of her when you are asked who is the best actress we have today in the film industry..

Though I'm not a big big fan of hers, she is certainly the best indian actress of today..

you seem to be an ardent fan of rani mukherjee. well i have alwaiz felt that success never goes down well with the society especially when the female is at par with the males. rani has alwaiz been a fabulous actress ... for instance one of her first movies, raja ki aayegi barat. even sridevi, madhuri and juhi chawla were alwaiz subdued in the presence of male contendors. however year 2005 truly belonged to rani mukherjee with an ace performance in black, and undoubtedly she's one of the most talented actresses of our cinema today. i have attended one of her stage performances alongside SRK and trust me this girl has her own on-stage charisma even though its hard to be the centre of attraction when u have srk calling the moves. its nice that she maintains a cordial relationship with srk, aamir and yash raj. cant say much about ash, because i really dont know of any female frenz she has in the industry, she seems to be in her own world. fair enough, i've alwaiz liked ash as well for putting india on the global map. the contribution doesnt need to be big, but the fact that there is one more indian face there, thats internationally recognised is something we all should be proud of.
