12th February, 2004. Hotel J. W. Marriott followed by a reception at the Radio Club. Ishmit Dhadial. I wore a pista coloured sherwani and Ishmit wore a burgundy coloured lehenga. Arranged. 6 months. Diamond embedded platinum band. Companionship, honesty, sincerity and integrity. All the 7 days of celebration were very expensive. We had two wedding ceremonies. The Punjabi wedding ceremony was held in a gurudwara in the afternoon and a Hindu marriage ceremony in the evening. Nothing as such but meeting friends and family members after so many years at one place was a nice thing. |
