Kusum Ending

Since Ekta is ending Kusum, why couldn't she do it on a positive note- and for once shown that Abhay and Kusum are finally together without all the evil forces out to get them. Instead, Abhay is killed off the show?? I know he wanted to leave, but why kill him off, since the show is coming to an end?

I don't even waste my time watching this show anymore- I just read the uodate- it only takes a few minutes- better than the boring 1/2 hour it takes to sit through that show!!!!!!!
