Saif's sisters Soha Ali Khan and Saba were photographed by us on Tuesday taking a rickshaw to visit Saif in hospital. That set them refreshingly apart from most other Bollywood folks who wheel out the Merc or the Beamer even if they have to go down the road. We asked actors if they too used public transport after stardom struck them.

Yes, I used to travel a lot by public transport and still do. Whenever I'm in Bandra I park my car at my in laws place and travel by rickshaw everywhere I have to go. I don't have the patience to travel by car in Bandra or anywhere crowded. Even in town I park my car at Regal and take a taxi from place to place.

I still use autos. I've never really used public transport like trains that much. I use rickshaws for short distances or when my car is at the mechanic's. Now I have my own car I can travel comfortably. The main reason I use it is because it has air conditioning!

I don't use public transport unless my car has conked off or in the garage. Then I use taxis or rickshaws. I used to travel by trains in college. Now I'm not going to college and I have my own car so there's no need.

Only the first year and a half I was here I would use the trains and rickshaws. Now I use autos and taxis once in a blue moon. There is a lot of traffic and when traveling from shoots being in a car is just more comfortable. In the last year I have traveled by rickshaw just once because my car was in the garage. I'm not a big fan of the way they ride but I enjoy the freedom of being in an auto. I think public transport is great. I would love for ferry's to be re launched. I think we should be making more use of our waterways.

I travel by rickshaw when I'm in the mood and I feel like a jerky ride! I haven't been on a bus or a train for over 10 years now but I still use autos to go buy vegetables etc; only for short distances though because traveling for a long time is very tiring.

Currently I don't use trains or buses but in my college days they were my main means of transport. I use rickshaws all the time though- when I don't feel like driving, when I'm bored of my car or when my car is getting fixed. I really love rickshaw rides because they are fun and pleasant. It's also very breezy and open. I go for rides around my area when I am bored. For longer distances or when traveling to work I use my car because I carry a lot of stuff like my make up, luggage and footwear bag. I love the comfort of my car. For me it's like my second home.
