Saif doesnt fit into my scheme of things: Amrita
Actor Saif Ali Khan recently said he wished estranged wife Amrita Singh would 'let him move on' and that 'it's a blessing to be with a woman who has nothing to do with the movies'. This is Amrita's side of the story...
Silence, they say, speaks louder than words. But for actor Amrita Singh, who maintained a dignified silence during her period of separation and subsequent divorce from husband Saif Ali Khan, it didn't seem to work. Just when she thought life was getting back to normal, came the 'shock', as Amrita puts it, when Saif went public with many revelations including reasons for their separation and accusations that she would not let him meet their children. But Amrita preferred not to retaliate aggressively. Saif's emotional outbursts troubled her, she says, as she has been hounded by calls. "I am too shocked to even react. I didn't expect this, but then such is life, uncertain and full of surprises."
Initially reluctant to speak about this, Amrita finally couldn't resist saying, "I am not going to belittle myself by discussing the nitty gritties. He has done what he had to. And now, he is doing the talking too. It doesn't matter to me as long as my children and I know the truth. Let him say whatever he wants. Unfortunately, he's forgetting the repercussion that this will have on our children, Sarah and Ibrahim." Amrita, who started her life all over again by taking up work in TV serials, also says that Saif's claims that the children are not allowed to meet him is totally baseless. "I don't know why he is talking like this. On the contrary, I would like to say he has no time for the children," she says
When we point out that BT had recently met Sarah and Ibrahim with Saif while he was shooting for an ad film in Filmcity, Amrita retorts: "Oh! he calls them, when the press is around."
The prime reason, says the actor, for not washing dirty linen in public is: "For the sake of the children, I don't want to say anything. They are growing up and understand everything. They are curious and they question. They know what's happening. So if he isn't concerned about them, it's his problem. I won't do it."Amrita says she isn't bothered about what Saif has spoken about her. "Why should I react to what he says? Saif doesn't figure in my scheme of things anymore," she ends.

Saif is gonna regret this later man!!! I also think he has no time for his children...i've read several interviews where he's said he's been on shooting spells for 2 months at once....i mean is it so hard to take a flight and come home for a couple of days...or take ur family with u??
