The jade walk: I am a naturopath, after all

Name: Benika Deepak.

Claim to fame: A qualified naturopath from Nainital started off with theatre under the tutelage of Nadira Babbar and Bharat Dabholkar followed by a string of soaps, commercials and films.

The soaps include Awaz Dil Se Dil Tak (Zee), Bhabhi (Star Plus), Shaka Laka Boom Boom(Star Plus), Shakti (DD1), Kittu Sab Janti Hai (SaharaOne) and Siraj-ud-daula (DD1).

She was seen in the Marathi film Saatchya Aat Gharat, an English film God Only Knows and Hindi film Escape From Taliban. "I only want to act in documentary films now, considering the research involved," she added.
