For those who are seeing Amit for the first time:
Before Kituu, Amit was the lead in a serial called Hotel Kingston which used to come on Star One. It was the best romantic serials to have come on TV. Amit played the role of Vish,GM of the hotel, a "simple, know-it-all guy" who falls for Shelly , MD, an NRI spoilt brat.
The reruns can be seen every wed at 3pm on One

Just to confirm i am also a part of the bunch of crazy fans of amit varma and his prev. serial
believe us, He is a very good actor.

The gritty girl show 'Kituu Sabb Jaantii Hai' is just a week old and sources reveal that it is heading for a rich boy-loves-poor girl narrative.

Actor Amit Verma will be playing Rohan Kapoor, son of a multi-millionaire, who gets besotted with the plucky Kituu ( Ami Trivedi).
Confirming the news, producerManish Goswami adds, "Suave and moneyed, Rohan is used to women swooning over him. But Kituu remains unimpressed by him. That makes Rohan all the more drawn to her."

Goswami also clarifies, "The love-track has been uniquely treated. It's not routine." Varma was previously seen in 'Hotel Kingston' and in a cameo in 'Instant Khichdi'.

i too am joining the party here...like all others i am a big fan of amit varma's...he is a brilliant actor and he is very very cute..and i watch kituu only beacuse of him...u know what kituu also happens to be the first serial that i have watched on sahara one. AMIT VARMA rocks.

in this serial kittu is never going to go wrong.
so do think u rohan's character will have negative shades? doesn't look like that till now.
But even he will be shown spoil brat, negative,
we know he is a good actor and will do well.

Swati, i too have a feeling that Amit Varma's character will have a negative shade later on in the serial..because, if i am not readin too uch betwen the lines, Amit said in one of his interviews that he had chosen to work in this serial despite it being kituu-centric serial beacuse since he is her love interest, there is a lot of scoope to perform at the later stages of the serial....i think there might be a possibility of Amit playin somewhat negative role later in the serial...it will be interesting to watch that..what do you people say?
