The last scene today was simply memorable! I bow down to Kritika for her acting in the past two episodes, but I seemed to have shed more tears after this scene. After the scene ended, I found my self still crying and feeling compelled to watch it another time. And now as i'm about to write this I'm watching it again. and i'm checking it's emotional potentional...my heart beat's are risiing again. lol. This scene is sheer beauty.
So when Arun stops at the door, the first thing that crossed my mind was that he looked REALLY GOOD! The best he's looked in days...i'm so happy! Anyways, and Anu I totally agree that she sensed his presence. The scene's more powerful that way.
I've never mentioned it before, but I find Arohi's raising of the dupatta to her mouth so Indian.😳 It's so natural...I can see most Indian women reacting that way. Anyways, her expression suddenly changes. They're no longer tears from the potential danger, but the joy of finally seeing Arjun. And Arjun's expressions change as well. Initially his eyes were popping out due to shock/worry, but when he sees Arohi's tears, he slowly begins to realize Arohi's love has rekindled, and his eyes soften and there's so much affection in those eyes, so I felt. Samiya, I think that's your answer. He would have tried to save her no doubt, but he saw that the tears in Arohi's expressions were beyond fear of the fire...the tears that followed suit were for him...that realization hit home and he did haath-miloing. lol. And when Arohi places her hands on the window, Mehr the peom you posted describes that situation perfectly. And is it just me or were Arjun's hands shaking slightly...portraying his disbelief in, I guess, his destiny.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0FPVG0kMWg there's this slight noise of I guess some kind of electric spark/ the fire spreading...but Arohi is oblivious to the sound and engrossed in Arjun's eyes. I'm guessing the sound was added in later, but for me them being oblivious to all else was a beautiful expression of their immense love. They would choose love, the feeling of being together, the feeling of each other over over their lives. It sounds preposterous, but the first time I watched it I felt like I could feel their slight touch. Their love transcended all barriers, the window was inexistant, which means that the differences have finally come to an end. They see through each other's faults and that is the only reason they are on the same page, and can feel each other's, if I may say, abysmal passion. After Arjun touches her face the first time, while he's lowering her hands, Arohi moves her hands in closer so that he can touch her again. She can't help but ask for more...
tum ko chu ke bhi chune ko karta hai dil. They try to put their hands exacty on top of each other...wanting to feel every inch of each other. And again, Arjun wiping her tears...for a moment there I couldn't see any more tears...porbably an illusion of some kind cuz that's what I expected, but the fact that I am in fact "see-ing things" demonstrates that the scene was magical.
If they were in the room together, I would've expected a dialogue like it would be okay if we died today cuz we would die together. Eventhough they weren't in the same room, I got the same feeling. They were in a world of their own where there was only love...no sorries, no thank-yous, no regrets...only love. I don't think i've analyzed it properly...it's not even analysis, but that was in every way a magical scene.😳
Other than that, yeah intiaitally when the fire started I thought it was going the OSO way, but in OSO there was a one-sided love. It wasn't the same emotion. By the time Arjun came to the window...the movie was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy out of my mind...it was only them.
And there are so many times in this show where i've felt that if Arohi was my gf or if Arjun was my bf, I would be so proud. Arohi thinks of her father and KS before saving herself. It seems unreal...we are in Kalyug. But i'm sure there are ppl in this world who think of others before themselves, and such is Arohi's nature. And my heart is filled with pride! And the parts where Arohi was banging on the door were very well shot...good direction there. And the scene directly before...when Arohi sees her picture on Arjun's bed is very well thought of. Again, she's finding the evidence for herself, and like Anjana said ppl tend to believe their findings/what they see/hear/feel, so it just strengthens her faith in him, further aggravates her longing to meet him, and so makes the last scene all the more special.
Okay I think i'm done for the epi for now. Now to all ur wonderful posts!😃
