I wanted to share this. 😆 If any of you guys feel you have the talent do get in touch with them. They do look at it. They really really do. I sent in my writing, and I was asked to come in to their office to meet this one person. (happened months ago) All I am saying is it would be really cool to have celebs come out of this forum 😃
Karan Kundra has nothing unusual about him. He did his schooling in Jalandhar and Rajasthan, has an MBA from the USA and, according to Wikipedia, owns a call centre in Jalandhar. Since January, he has been essaying the role of Arjun Punj on the NDTV Imagine show. With his boy-next-door charm, he has wooed couch potatoes and has built up quite a following in tier-two cities and, of course, Mumbai.
Kundra tells The Statesman, "I have been involved in the family business since I was 16 or 17. Like most youngsters, I'm fascinated by anything new, Facebook is not an exception. I spent hours scrapping friends on social networking websites and was often fascinated by the thought of contacting celebrities. Ekta Kapoor is a name I had been hearing since I was 12 years old. Finally, I decided to get in touch with her. After two or three days, I got a call from her office and a few days down the line I was in her office. After speaking to me for 30 minutes, I was offered a role in the television show. At first, I didn't tell my dad but then I changed my mind. It was a dream come true."
India has its online star ~ the young Karan Kundra. Last year he was just a good-looking, well-attired businessman leading a routine life. This year has been a "rocking" one for him ~ celebrity status, a huge following among women… he has become the talk of tinsel town. What went right? He had an account on Facebook and, like most of us, didn't want to give up on an opportunity to "scrap" celebrities. He decided to contact Ekta Kapoor, the woman who has given television programming, like it or not, a new dimension with her saas-bahu plots. Kapoor, for unknown reasons, replied. Perhaps Kundra's photographs on Facebook did the trick. Today, he is acting in one of India's most popular television shows ~ Kitni Mohabbat Hai.
