JUST ANOTHER DAY!!
As the clock struck seven, arohi started to wind up work. It had been a long, tiring day.
Client after client, meeting after meeting had completely exhausted her. Being arjun's associate indeed paid well but there was a catch – her presence was requires everywhere! She had to be with everywhere earlier at his heel but now at his side.
She did not know when and how she had fallen in love with her khadoos boss. Merely thinking about him brought a smile to her face. Never in her wildest dream had she thought that she'd fall in love with the person she detests the most on the planet! However, life, it does weird things, love does weird thing to people. And this was one of them.
Its not that arjun was a changed man after meeting her. This was not the typical bad boy meets good girl and mends his ways kinda love tale. In fact, there was so much more to him that met the eye. He was as normal as normal could get. It was his insecurities that surfaced and made people believe that he was a heartless and ruthless monster from within. Arjun was actually like just another guy, with the same needs and wants, all he lacked was a little self confidence which arohi made up for and completed him.
Lost in thought, she blindly tossed some cd's in her bag and turned around to leave.
'Ms. Arohi', came in a stern voice. Startled she dropped the cd's.
'gotchya', he added cheekily
'Arjun!' exclaimed arohi with her hands on her hips, rolling her eyes. 'tum bhi naa'
While putting the cd's back on the table she felt two warm arms encircle her waist gently and felt him nuzzle at her neck.
Leaning against him she asked, ' abhi tak ghar nahi gaye?'
'I was waiting for you silly!!', he said resting his chi on her shoulder.
' oho! Aaj bohat pyaar aa raha hai! Kuch baat hai kya??
It was then suddenly that the lights went out. Gasping, arohi turned around and flung her arms around his neck, he head buried in his chest.
'kya baat hai! Aaj bohat pyaar aa raha hai', he copied her.
Scared and disoriented, arohi asked , ' yeh lights ko kya hua ?'
"chali gayee", arjun retorted smugly
Rolling her eyes arohi asked , 'kis liye?
'issliye" arjun responded by pulling her closer and stealing a kiss
