firstly, I'd like to *thank* Tani for stepping-in to do the updates for me last week ..she did a fantabulous job! 🤗
secondly, from this week, we are introducing our very own *change* in the update-schedule - Fatima and I will be doing alternate days (for the *foreseeable* future at least!) 😉😃😳

Salil is getting ready when Arjun appears and without saying a word seats himself on a nearby sofa - Salil tells him to get ready, as he won't risk being late at his own engagement. Arjun looks distressed and in his agitated-mood reminds him that his engagement is scheduled for the evening and it's still noon! However Salil is undeterred, and he demands a dress-rehearsal! 😆
Like a *concerned* friend, Arjun attempts to make Salil reconsider his decision of getting engaged - after all "she" is not that *good* (really Arjun?! 😉😛😃). Salil asks him to elaborate on his *observation* - Arjun struggles - and eventually describes her as a little "nakjhari" and so doubts she will be able to keep him happy. Mischievously, Salil asks Arjun who he's referring to, as the description seems to fit him! As a peace-offering, Salil asks him to smile but Arjun flatly refuses, saying he's upset on his behalf (...Salil ke liye, ya phir apne liye?! 😉😆). Arjun leaves frustrated.
Salil takes out the ring for Poorvi and goes to kiss it, when Arjun re-appears - only to storm off once again!
Bua is checking to see that all the preparations are in order - when Arohi sees her father looking very worried. She questions him. Hari Prasad explains that he had expected approx 50 guests, but it appears that they are bringing 200. How is he to accommodate for it all and that too at such a late stage?! At that very moment a person appears from a catering company - Hari Prasad is bewildered, the person hands him the order-form - it's been placed by Badi Ma - as her contribution/present.
Poorvi is quietly seated in her bedroom, when she hears an areoplane flying past and begins to panic. Arohi appears - in her hysterics, Poorvi claims that it was Niks, and leaves. Arohi makes a silent prayer for Poorvi's happiness. 😳
The preparations for the engagement are in full-swing. Antra, Sur and their friends discuss that there will be three *handsome/eligible* guys coming from the *boy's family* - Salil, Arjun and Nikhil. Salil's other siblings, Natasha and Aman will be arriving for the wedding only. They begin to discuss the possible antics.
In the car, Salil is seated in the passenger's seat, besides Arjun, who is driving, with Nikhil sitting on the backseat. He begins to get nervous as to what his "3 salis" may have planned for him - unintentionally annoying Arjun in the process! Nikhil tells him to handle them himself, as he and Arjun will handle their friends ..but seeing Arjun's expression, he quickly retracts his words - and assigns the task to himself alone! (I'm sure you'll do just fine Nikhil! 😆)
They arrive at Arohi's house. Antra takes the girls upstairs to "action" their plan. (Arjun looks really HOT in the black kurta suit ...outshining Salil's light blue by far! 😉😳). As the girls stand and look on from the balcony, Salil, Arjun and Nikhil (one-by-one) appear and stand directly below their view-point. Arjun eventually expresses his frustration as to why they are lined up as if in a parade, shouldn't it be the other way around?! Salil tells him that the times have changed. Arjun leaves annoyed.
Arohi brings Poorvi to the top of the staircase, and notices Salil watching them. Poorvi moves away, leaving Arohi standing there on her own. Arjun turns just in time to see Salil signaling at Arohi.
Nikhil calls Salil away, leaving Arjun staring at Arohi. She waves at him, but he simply looks away; and then continues to steal glances in her direction! Arohi wanders why he's doing that, sarcastically assuming that he probably wants to relay another dictation! Whilst Arjun is not looking, she moves away - leaving him frantically searching for her! Salil notices him staring upwards and asks what he's looking at - he says the window! 😆
However, he's saved by Antra and Sur's interruption from further questions. Salil requests that they allow him to meet Poorvi for a few moments. They agree - laughingly taking him away, leaving a distraught Arjun behind! As he begins to walk away, a little girl grabs hold of Arjun, asking why he's worried ...it's only the dulha who needs to be worried, after all he is the one who has his leg-pulled, and just before leaving, she laughingly calls him "handsome". Arjun is infuriated that regardless of their age, girls constantly laugh without reason!
Sur, Antra and Salil enter a room, where Arohi is standing away from the gaze, with Poorvi's duppata on her! The girls inwardly laugh, whilst poor Salil appears embarrassed. Eventually, he hands Arohi (thinking her to be Poorvi) the engagement ring for her approval. Arohi, averting his gaze, takes it, and Arjun looks on from the opposite direction (once again mistaking Arohi as being "the" girl). She comments that that the ring is nice but would have preferred it even better if it had a bigger diamond ..Salil promises her one for next time. Arjun is furious - commenting that his foolish friend is failing to see that she is only after his money, and leaves. (a latest a habit?)
Salil requests that he see's "her" at least once - Arohi turns around. All four laugh.
Arjun is in deep thought when his dad appears, questioning as to why he is appearing so upset - Arjun asks whether it is possible for a meaningless person, who you really hate and one who is about to leave you forever ..but you feel bad. The head says that if "he's to go, go" ..but hearts says that it "shouldn't go". And if so, what does that mean?
His dad says that it means that "one day" has arrived, which can wither pick you up if you listen to your mind, or throw you if you listen to your heart. It's merely to do with emotions which leave just as people do. His dad advises him to listen to his mind. Arjun agrees, but stops mid-sentence for a few moments on seeing Arohi, but then continues to relay his father's words of "wisdom" ...
PRECAP - an annoyed Arjun scrunches up a piece of paper and throws it away - unknowingly hitting the back of Arohi's head. She turns around and on seeing him look at her sheepishly, she assumes that he has once again mistaken her for a dustbin - and leaves.
