It was the morning after the engagement and Arohi was in a very bad mood as she walked to work. First she woke up late. She blamed it on Arjun. Didn't he call her like 10 times throughout the night to apologize for the torn dupatta'How was she supposed to get any sleep with the phone ringing every fifteen minutes or so. And when she mentioned as such to her sister Antara, who slept in the same room as her, a non plussed Antara rectified her with "Lekin di'The phone rang only twice ' 'you were the one who kept muttering on it throughout.". "Do you know what I was muttering?" a chagrined Arohi asked her. "Err'sorry di'.but it was a lot of Arjun Sir this'.Arjun Sir that".

And when she went to pick a dress to wear to office, all the good ones were in the laundry except for the red one. She groaned and asked Sur if she could borrow one of hers. "Kyu di'.?" "Kyu mujhe is dress mein dekhar Mr. Arjun Punj ne "laal chadi maidan khadi" kaha tha" "Di..since when did u letting him dictate what you wear?" Sur asked innocently.

Observing that Purvi was a little short staffed in the kitchen, Arohi offered to serve her dad his breakfast. Placing the tray in front of him she smiled and said "Here's your special breakfast baba, with your special coffee'the way you like it'No foam". And suddenly came to her senses as her father returned her brilliant smile with an understanding one of his saying "Beta'.I think you know'.Main coffee nahi peeta hoon."

Walking in the sweltering heat did nothing to improve her temper, further provoked when the cream colored Honda Accord drove beside her and stopped by her side. She thought she handled it well when she said pretty audibly "I don't need a lift from you Arjun Sir" and nearly died of mortification the next minute as the man behind the wheel said "But madame, I was asking directions for this address".

Totally restless, she spent the whole day in office alternately scowling and apologizing for her absent mindedness. Purvi's casual observation kept coming back to her. Listening to Arohi grumbling about her boss, Purvi asked her why she didn't leave this one and get another one. The mere thought of it had stunned Arohi and it was a full one minute before she stammered'"Errr..Its actually not that bad you know'I mean'he makes me work real hard..but he's really fair and 'then he's also just and '.a good'err'man..I mean employer '.". Arjun was surprised to see Arohi so inattentive during the meeting. She rarely spoke a word and instead of her usual confident-looking-directly-into-your-eyes kind of glance, she looked askance.

More ever, she got him all the wrong files when he asked for the project details on their new studio. After sending her back to her cabin for the fifth time to get the right file, he asked her,concerned, "Arohi, are you alright? Tumhara dhyaan kahan hai" She looked straight at him for the first time in the day and said in-a-Can't-hide-can't-admit-it voice, "Sir'.Aap par".
