Karan: I guess u have to forget about it for Long time...he smirked holding the door knob...
Mishika looked at Arjun who was standing beside Karan..the furious look on his face proved that he heard their conversation..
Mishu: Arjun...it's nothing like u r thinking..
Arjun raised his hand telling her to stop...
Arjun: I have heard enough Mishika..he marched towards Shane and gave him a tight slap...how could u?
Shane rubbed his cheek: Arjun..it's Karan playing some game again...let us explain..
Karan: absolutely...it's it was my fault u became bankrupt..and u know I have even bribed Britain police to come here and arrest u...he said with a roll of eyes..
Shane's and Mishu's face turned white..
Karan: well they were quite happy in their life in England but Shane suffered a great loss in his business as a result he was not able to pay his debts taken from bank..now when they needed money they remembered..."Mr. Richie Rich"..oh by the way I mean u...Arjun..but they hadn't expected u to be in love with someone else..which made their task difficult..and with my arrival..just impossible..he smirked..
Mishika: he is lying Arjun..it's not truth..
Karan: I have proofs..and just for your information.. police will be here anytime to arrest u..the govt desperately wants u..oh u guys are so much in demand..
Shane: Arjun plz save us..he said frantically..
Arjun: save u!! He said accusing him..rite now all I want to do is kill u..
The police arrived to arrest them...Mishika looked at Arjun begging him to save them...but Arjun looked away..
Police: thank u Mr Karan Singhania..they will be hand over to Britain police tomorrow...the inspector informed and left from there...
Arohi: how u knew about it all Karan?
Karan: I leave the explanation part to Rashi..as u know m not used to this explanation stuff on all...
He moved towards Arjun who was still standing in kind of shock..he shook his shoulder to make him look at him..
Karan: sometimes truth lies hidden behind the carefully constructed facade brother..u had to break it to know the truth instead of believing whatever thrown at ur way is true..he looked at him keenly and then added in a whisper...eyes get betrayed too and ears are always capable of hearing lies..he patted his shoulder...
Arjun sighed: thank u for what all u did..
Karan: there's a reason behind it...I didn't do it for u..he stepped back ready to leave the room..
Arjun: are u staying here..?
Karan nodded..
Arjun: u said u were staying at some friend's place..
Karan: I don't have friends Arjun...not anymore he added looking at Arohi...
Arjun: no need to stay here anymore...come with me..
Karan: I don't want to come with u..
Arjun: u have to...I request..
Karan reluctantly agreed cz he knows it was the last time he was here in India...as promised to Rashi he had to go away from Arjun's life..

Arohi: are u ok? She asked holding his hand n staring at sky..they both were standing in garden...
Arjun: I feel good! I feel light..guilt free...he smiled down at her..yeah I feel hurt somewhere in my heart but more than that I feel relieved..
Arohi leaned over his arm: bringing Karan with u was good decision..
Arjun: he did a lot for us there...I don't care if it was due to some silly promise he had given to Rashi..
Arohi nodded thinking about Karan's words..."eyes get betrayed too and ears are always capable of hearing lies.."
What he wanted to say in actual..what he meant by this..
Arjun shook her: hey Arohi what happened...u just dozed off..
Arohi: nothing..was just thinking about something..she smiled..
Arjun nodded and smiled back pulling her in for a hug...

Next evening Arohi marched inside Karan's room holding a guitar in her hand..
Karan looked at her raising his brows..
Karan: heard of knocking !?
Arohi: I went to mall today and I found this...she pointed towards Guitar...
Karan's facial expression turned blank...he stared at guitar and looked away..It was his guitar..
Arohi: why u sold it..? She yelled...
Karan didn't replied..and turned his back to her..
Arohi: answer me Karan...why u sold it? U told me once that it's not guitar for u...it's ur heart...where ever u go.. u take it with u...then why u sold it..?
Karan: Arohi plz leave...he said in composed voice..
Arohi: m not going until u answer me..she shouted...
Karan turned: cz I needed money...I wanted to give my sister her marriage gift..and for that I needed money..he barked holding her from shoulders..I am not ur billionaire boyfriend...I am a hand to mouth person...I have to work all day so that at the end of day I am able to feed myself...I have to make sacrifices..I have to compromise..he left her and ran his hand through his hair..u know..he looked at her again...what I bought by selling my guitar..Diamond earings for my sister only to have them gracefully thrown at my face...
Arohi: m sorry Karan..I didn't..
Karan: no..why r u being sorry...I had a moment of weakness..it was my mistake..mistake is always mine...saying this he left from room...

Arohi slowly walked towards Karan who was sitting in garden staring in space..as if sensing her presence he dumped the cigarette in ground..Arohi sat beside him..they both sat in silence..
Arohi: u r not as bad as u pretend to be...she said softly..
Karan: I don't pretend anything..I am not just what everyone wants me to be..
There was again silence...
Karan: m sorry for the words I said u that night..I was not in my proper senses..I hope u understand that I didn't mean a single world..
Arohi: only for ur words..not for ur action?
Karan: I am only sorry for what I did...not for what u thought!
Arohi nodded: I want to know truth Karan...she said after a little pause..
Karan: what truth Arohi? He looked at her frowning...
Arohi: the truth u have kept hidden..I want to know ur part of story..
Karan started looking here and there..
Karan: I guess u dropped ur judgy specs somewhere..come let's find it..he said in a blank voice..
Arohi: I am serious Karan...I want to know..
Karan: why now Arohi...?? He asked in frustrated voice..
Arohi: cz that night in parking I have seen pain..disbelief and disappointment in ur eyes..u r very good in hiding ur emotions behind "I don't give damn" facade but that night...u failed..
Karan: let bygones be bygones..past should stay in past..
Arohi: what happened 3 years back Karan..she asked stubbornly..
Karan stared at her and then left a harsh laugh...Arohi furrowed her brows..
Karan: it's actually for the first time someone is asking me What happened rather than asking Why...
Arohi just stared him back in response..
Karan: u know why I never answered their questions 3 years back...he looked at her...Arohi lightly nodded for him to continue..how was I supposed to explain something that never happened..
Arohi looked at him shocked...
Karan: truth is not what u n everybody believes...will u believe me if I tell u that I didn't do anything 3 years back?
Arohi: I believe u that's why m here demanding truth...she kept her hand on his...
Karan: ever since Mishika entered in our lives...Arjun was smitten by her..he was infatuated by her...but there was something about her I never liked...everything was gng well until..he zoned out...
Arohi: until...??? She asked bringing him back...
Karan: until...
*flashback*
Karan was about to leave from Music room after checking that everything was at it's place...just when he was about to switch off all the lights he heard clicking of heels behind him...he turned confused to see who was there at this time...the clg was over only he had stayed to practice for the musical fundraiser his clg was organizing...
He was shocked to see who the intruder was...
Mishika: hi Karan..! She gave her s**tty smile..
Karan crossed his arms: hi Mishika...what are u doing here at this time?
Mishika ignored his question and moved forward touching his guitar...
Mishika: u play guitar really awesome...she said fluttering her eyelashes at him...can u teach me ?
Karan rolled his eyes: I don't remember starting tutorial classes! He said completely displeasured by the way she was standing close to him and giving those s**tty looks...
Mishika: come on...special classes for me...she inched closer to him travelling her fingers from guitar to his chest...
Karan held her hand and pushed her away: u r no where near my definition of special...
Mishika faked hurt expression: but I do really like u Karan...u r much more charming than ur brother...she leaned on him but he jerked her away..
Karan: stay away from me...he said sternly... m not urs to take..he moved ahead to leave but she held his hand..
Mishika: she is such a bitch...I have seen her flirting around with so many boys...
Karan raised his one brow at her: the only bitch I unfortunately know is...you ! Take this is as ur first n last warning...a word against Ananya...N u will be dealing with my worst side...he said in threatening voice n left from there...
*flashback ends*
Arohi: oh my God...but neither Arjun nor Ananya know about it...
Karan: that's becz I never told them..he shrugged his shoulders...
Arohi: why...?? U know u should have...
Karan: at that time I didn't took Arjun's infatuation that srsly..so I never told him about this...
Arohi: but Ananya..she should have known about it..
Karan: I know but I under estimated Mishika that time..
Arohi: what happened next..? She asked urging him to continue..
Karan: after that I didn't see much of Mishika...but one fine day Arjun confided me in that he proposed her...n I was shocked...is an understatement..I met Mishika next day to find what was she up to...she apologized from me for her behavior that day n said she genuinely likes Arjun...n blah! blah! blah!...
And that right there...I under estimated her once again..
Now jumping to the most memorable night..he said with a sarcastic smile..
*flashback*
Karan reached late for party..he was in no mood to go there after the fight with Arjun no for Ananya..they both were already not talking for week...and the reason behind all the mess was one n only Mishika...don't know what spell she has casted on Arjun..he parked his car n stepped out...he was about to enter when he heard two familiar voices coming from small alley beside parking..he walked in direction of voices only to get shocked...there was Mishika pushed against wall with Arjun's best friend Shane hovering over her..they both were crazily making out n didn't noticed him..he silently escaped from their before they can register his presence...he was so disgusted when he entered the party..he wanted to go to Arjun n tell him the truth straightforward..it will hurt him but he has his brother to help him..he was looking around for him and finally he found him...he was standing with Ananya and few of her friends..He was whole heartidly laughing on something..last week had been hell for both of them..n now he don't have heart to break this shattering news to him...the news can wait one more day..he decided to tell him about Mishika and Shane the next day...
He headed towards bar to grab a drink..he was feeling so suffocated due to that encounter..he started feeling dizzy after having only one drink...he was not much of alcoholic then but he could easily keep 3 drinks down but tonight one drink was making him lose his senses...he lost his balance n he remembered someone holding him from shoulders before he collapsed..
*flashback ends*
Arohi: let me guess that person was Shane..she said narrowing her eyes..
Karan nodded: yes..they both have spied my drink...I don't know which drug they mixed but I immediately fainted after having it...
Arohi: but Arjun n Ananya saw u with her in hotel room..she said hesitantly..
Karan: just as I said before "eyes get betrayed too.."
Shane n Mishika took me in that hotel room booked under name of Arjun...after that Shane came out in met Arjun n told him some story that I was disguising as him...Arjun came there n saw me with her...it was whole scenario created by her to make Arjun believe n guess what he believed..I was fainted n Mishika was deliberately moaning his name...
Arohi's eyes opened wide...how can a girl stoop so low...
Karan: while both Arjun n Ananya were felling in Mishika's trap I had no idea what was going to hit me...
*flashback*
Next day Karan woke up with a severe headache..he looked around the unfamiliar surroundings..he realized he was not wearing his shirt..he sat up holding his hand..but his eyes popped out when he saw Mishika sitting in corner of room sobbing n hugging herself..
Karan: what the hell u r doing here...n what the hell m doing here...he shouted but regretted due to pain in his head shot up...
Mishika: u took advantage of me last night...she said crying..
Karan: cut the drama n tell me truth..m not going to fall for ur acting..I trust myself enough..he said sternly...
Mishika: but ur darling girlfriend n brother both fell for it...she smirked wiping her fake tears...
Karan: u r lying...but the smirk on her face told she was not...no..no..no! He stood up from bed..
Mishika: yes...she explained him about happenings of last night..what u thought u will reject me for that Bitch Ananya n i will accept it like that..u were very proud of ur relationship with Arjun n Ananya...see how I shattered both in snap of my fingers..
Karan: they might have fell for ur trap for that moment but they would have sensed something fishy by now...I trust them..they will never believe that I can do something some hideous...he said with confidence dripping from his voice...
Mishika smirked: we will see...
*flashback ends*
Karan: n just like that Mishika won n I lost...and I am still so lost...he added in whisper..
Arohi sat their shell shocked..it was too much to take in..
Karan: Arjun hates me bcz he thinks I broke his trust...I hate him bcz he broke my trust too...
Arohi: why u never told them truth???
Karan: they never wanted to know truth...they directly accused me..not even for once they thought truth can be different... u know Arohi what hurts the most..I was not even given benefit of doubt...they trusted everything as if they were waiting for me to do something like that...
Out off all the people Ananya knew how much I despised Mishika...n Arjun knew how much I loved Ananya..yet they ignored everything over that..I knew what they witnessed was not easy..but what about me Arohi..?? Am I that bad that no one even for once doubted on Mishika n tried knowing my part of story...he said frustrated..
Arohi: I can never imagine what u have endured Karan...u r not bad at all..it were the circumstances that made them believe Mish...
Karan: don't u defend them in front of me..not even for once the thought of me being innocent crossed their mind...
Arohi: Karan..I didn't mean to defend...
Karan: I told u something I have never shared with anyone else..I insist that it should remain between us...he said sternly cutting her off..
Arohi: they should know the truth Karan...she said frantically..
Karan: they don't deserve to know...he said coldly...
Arohi: n u don't deserved to be blamed for something u never did...out off all the people u deserve every ounce of happiness...
Karan: if u ever considered me ur friend...u will keep the truth between us...if they wish to knew...they had 3 damn years...but here we are..they still believe all the lies..n still the culprit..
Arohi: u have already suffered so much...u can't suffer like this forever...
Karan: three years is a very long time...I wonder how long is forever..he gave his signature smile but Arohi could see the unshed tears in his eyes...
