"so what u think about it?" Arjun asked tucking his hands in pocket..they both were standing in one BHK apartment..he had shown her around and now was waiting for her to say something..

Arohi: sir its beautiful but..she hesitated

Arjun: its flat by our hotel for employees..its rent is as much u were giving there..u don't need to think about that..

Arohi smiled as he always understand her hesitations and confusions..

Arohi: I hope u are not lying!

Arjun: u can confirm it with anyone in office..he shrugged his shoulders..

Arohi chuckled: no no sir..i trust u..

Arjun stared her for few seconds.."Thank u" he said with a faint smile..

Arohi: for what? She asked confused..

Arjun: for trusting me..he kept looking at her..

Arohi: I will always trust u sir..he said staring in his eyes..conveying the honesty in her words..

Their moment was broken by Arjun's ringing phone..he excused himself and went in corner to take the call..

Arohi wandered around the apartment..it was on second floor of building..she went outside in balcony..she can see kids playing in park with each other..she saw a little playing girl playing with her father..she kept staring at them until she heard Arjun's voice which brought her back..

Arjun: so wat have u decided Miss Arohi? He asked coming out in the balcony finishing the call..

Arohi quickly turned her gaze to him but Arjun had already catched her looking fondly at father daughter pair in park..

Arohi: I like it sir..i will definitely stay here..she smiled..

Arjun: I will ask Mr Sharma too do complete the paperwork so u can shift here..

Arohi nodded as she followed him..

Arohi entered in kitchen to find Kumud preparing something..

Arohi: Gud evening mam..she smiled

Kumud smiled: Good morning beta..now u should stop calling me mam..she resumed in working..

Arohi: then wat should I call u?

Kumud: anything..mam looks so formal..umm..u can call me KS..everyone calls me this..she looked ather with smile..

Arohi: okay..mam..i mean KS..she moved closer to her looking wat was she doing..

Kumud seeing her curiosity smiled: its potato salad..Arjun's favrt..

Arohi: I have never tasted it..she said looking at ingrediants..

Kumud: it's a famous Australian dish..in Australia Arjun used to demand for it daily..

Arohi: Australia..sir were in Australia? She said in questioning tone..

Kumud: Arjun's whole life has been spent in Australia..he was 2 years old when we shifted to Australia..

Arohi: oh..she said amazed

Kumud: but now mom was missing India..and Rudra too wanted to return so we are back here..we returned here 3 years back..she got done with salad and washed her hands..

Arohi: u will be missing Australia..lifestyle here and there is quite different !

Kumud: yes it is..but Hindustani kahin bhi rahe rehte hamesha Hindustani hi h..she pulled Arohi's cheek affectionately..

Arohi smiled: ye baat toh apne sahi kahi mam..opps KS..she stuck her tongue out..

Kumud laughed..

Kumud: come now lets go for dinner..everyone must be waiting..she picked up tray as Arohi too picked bowl and they went to dinning table..

Arjun raised his eyes when he heard a lively banter..Arohi entered along with his mom laughing on soething most probably his mom told her..

Rudra: arey bhai kya hua..itni hasi kis baat pe humein bhi toh pta chale?

Kumud: kuch nhi bas mein Arohi ko bta ri thi kaise Arjun ko problem hui thi India mein rehne mein shuru mein..the way he used to get irritate from traffic and loud noises..

Arjun: I still get annoyed with traffic and loud noises..he made a weird face..Australia was far better..

Dadi: jis din tere dil ko yhn rehne ki vj mil gyi na tujhe India bhi acha lagega..

Arjun's eyes shone with pain..he concentrated on serving himself food..Arohi noticed the change in him..she looked at him weirdly..

Dadi looked at Rudra saddened..Rudra gestured her to relax

Arohi sat infront of him..

Arohi: ye baat toh apne bilkul sahi kahi dadi..she said trying to lightening the tension in room..Dadi Delhi toh mujhe bhi raas nhi aaya abhi tak..Shimla se ek dum alag h..she quickly involved them in a conversation of her days in Shimla..while she succeeded to an extent but Arjun didn't showed any interest as he sat lost in his thoughts..

After dinner everyone left..Arjun was about to leave when Arohi called him..

Arohi: sir..dont mind me saying but..Miss Jenna kehti h jab koi cheez humein dard de..dukh de toh humein use jane dena chahiye..kyunki hmari udasi un logo ko bhi affect krti h jinke liye hum matter krte h..she smiled but her smile didn't lasted long as Arjun started yelling

Arjun: listen Miss Arohi.i already told u that I don't want ur advices..its better u keep them to urself..he said rudely and left leaving Arohi frowning..

Arohi: Akdo..she shook her head and went to her room

Arohi: good morning sir..she chirped as Arjun came down..

Arjun: Miss Arohi wait for me outside..i am coming..he went to Kumud asking for something..

Arohi looked him narrowing her eyes: good morning ka jwaab bhi nhi diya..sadu..

She was moving out of main gate towards Arjun's car when a dog ran inside barking..being scared with this sudden incident she took 2 steps back and ran inside turning..she was looking back at dog when she collided with Arjun's hard chest..she circled his waist tightly scared of dog..

Arohi: sir plz mujhe bachalo..mujhe kutto se bhut dar lagta h..she said frantically..

Arjun was too stunned to react..the dog came closer and was barking at them..

Arjun: Miss Arohi relax he wont do anything..he tried parting her but Arohi was too scared to let him go..

The dog barked once again..

Arjun: Goofy..quiet..he scolded him as he stopped barking and sat down waging his tail..Arjn turned his attention back to Arohi who was still clinging on him..Miss Arohi..i promise he wont harm..m with u..he said calming her..she finally parted from him and looked at dog..but held his arm tighty being frightened..

Arjun sighed..just then a girl came running towards them with lots of bags in her hands..

"Arjun Bhai.." she shouted and jumped in his arms dropping all bags..

Arjun smiled and hugged her tightly..

Arjun: finally the devil is back..he patted her back..

Arohi looked at them with fondness..it dint took her a minute to realize that the girl was Rashi...Arjun's elder sister..

Arjun: how was ur trip?

Rashi: it was fantastic..next time u are also gonna accompany me..

Arjun nodded: sure..he smiled..

Rashi confusingly looked at Arohi..noticing this Arjun spoke up..

Arjun: Rashi this is Arohi..my personal associate..she is living in our home for few days and Arohi she is Rashi my sister..

Rashi: elder sister..she said with authority with a amusing smile on her face..

Arjun: yeah elder sister..

Arohi smiled: hello mam..

Rashi: oh pleez..ye sir mam tum Arjun ke sath karo..call me only Rashi..

Arohi nodded with a smile thinking" ye sadu ki puri family toh itni sweet h..fir ye kyu hamesha sade mood mein rehta h.."

Goofy barked making her jump in fear..

Arjun bent down on his knees and lovingly ruffled his hair..

Arjun: u have also become devil living with this devil..he chuckled as Rashi lightly hit him on shoulder..stop barking now..u r scaring my associate..

Goofy barked once again as he started licking Arjun's hands..

Rashi smiled: looks like Goofy missed u..

Arjun patted his head fondly..

Arjun: Miss Arohi..he is a very important part of our family..Goofy..and Goffy she is Arohi..dont scare her again..

Goofy woofed like understanding his words..

In evening Arohi was leaving for apartment..she was packing her bag when dadi entered..she handed her some jars and a gift wrapped packet..

Dadi: keep them too..and don't say no..she added when Arohi opened her mouth to deny..

Arohi smiled and took them..

Dadi: ye jitney bhi din tu rahi yhn hmare sath bhut acha lga..mera bas chlta toh jane hi nhi deti..she cupped her cheek and dropped a kiss on her forehead..

Arohi: mujhe bhi aap logo ke sath rehkr bhut acha lga..sabhi ne itna pyar aur apnapan diya ki man toh mera bhi nhi apse dur jane ka..par hamesha k liye reh toh nhi sakti..

Dadi: ise apna hi ghar samjh..jab man kare bhaagi chali aayio milne..koi nhi rokega..

Arohi nodded as she hugged her lovingly..

Arjun stopped car in front of her apartment..he helped her in taking out her bags..

Arohi: thank u once again sir..she said smiling with gratitude in her eyes..

Arjun just nodded: don't need to say it again and again..and next time if u are in any problem don't hesitate..

Arohi nodded..

Arjun: um..Miss Arohi..i talked with u rudely last nite..i shouldn't have..

Arohi: its ok sir..its ok..ab toh aadat ho gyi h..she said smiling amusingly..

Arjun gave her a stern look before he himself smiled..

Arjun: okay I should get going now..bye take care..

Arohi: itni jaldi? She said disappointed..

Arjun raised his eyebrows at her to which she replied..

Arohi: I mean sir..vo ya you are rite..u should be get going..bye..she said half heartidly..

Arjun turned to leave but stopped..

Arjun: umm..miss Arohi..do you need any help with setting?

Arohi: no sir..its all done already..i just need to set my room and kitchen..and I will manage..

Arjun nodded: umm..how u will manage dinner tonite? Kitchen is not set up? come we have dinner outside and them I will drop u back..

Arohi: no sir..KS already packed dinner for me..its with here..she showed him tiffin box..

Arjun: umm..okay..so..bye then..see u in office tomorrow..

Arohi nodded: okay sir..they both reached till door..

Arjun suddenly turned: how will u manage to come office?um..I will come to pick u..okay

Arohi: but sir ur route is totally different..u will have to come to other side all the way..

Arjun: no problem...I will..

Arohi: okay sir..

Arjun turned to leave once again but this time Arohi called him..

Arohi: Sir..he quickly turned...I think I will need ur help in setting kitchen..so..

Arjun smiled: yeah sure..he stepped in as Arohi closed the door..

They both were standing in his office near the table..

Arohi: ab toh apki koi bhi girlfriend ban jayegi..she said giggling and hitting on his arm..he looked at her hand on his arm and then at her smiling face..

"koi bhi" he asked with a small smile raising his eyebrows..

"haan koi bhi" she shrugged her shoulders..

He snaked his arm on her waist pulling her closer "toh kya tum banogi meri girlfriend?" his face was mocking but voice was serious..

Arohi just stood there frozen staring at his smirking face..as he was waiting for her answer..
