Thought of updating it before going for my tuition...

Chapter 2

The twinkling stars slowly disappeared,the sun rose and slowly the blanket of darkness of the night got removed from the world of mankind...No one as such noticed it...They were busy sleeping but there was one lonely soul standing near the small PG balcony noticing it all...Arohi could not sleep just like most nights...so she started doing the thing she loved...i.e observing her sorroundings...The morning air was cool...birds were chirping around...The sun was rising ...the colour was red...To Arohi it looked like it was drenched in blood...

She saw people going on morning walks...and small children going to school holding their parent's hand...She remembered her own childhood...but somehow if felt like a complete blur..like it always did...Who was she,she belonged to whom or who belonged to her...she didn't know...Did anyone actually care for her??Would anyone cry if anything happened to her?she thought but got no answer...
The clock struck seven and taking her towel she moved towards the bathroom to take a bath...todays plan going on in her brain but that did not appear in her face for it like always remained emotionless...

"Arohi di...mere sar mai ktna dard hai.."winced Shefali...her room mate...Arohi was making breakfast for herself...she looked up aT Shefalis's messed up form...she had come late yesterday from her college party and she clearly had alcohol which was showing its effect...Arohi shook her head...and snapped "Agar alcohol handle nahi kar sakti to peeti kyu ho?"...Shefali looked at her a bit angryly and strode off to her room visibly upset...Arohi sighed...Shefali was always to good to her and she behaved so badly with her...It was may be because she was not used to having anyone around her...Shefali was a lovely girl but the fact was that Arohi was jealous of her...watching shefali reminded her of all the things she had missed while growing up...yet somewhere in her cold heart...she loved her...

Turning her attention back to her work...she finished it,got ready..."I am leaving Shefali"she called out...Shefali came out of her room to see her gone...she was still angry but her anger vanished looking at the piping hot coffee,2 advils and a plate of toast and omlete sitting on the table...she looked at the door and mumbled "Dikhne mai jitni bhi kharus ho...dil ki acchi hai.."...

Arohi hurriedly entered the office builing..."O God I am late" she mumbled...reaching her desk she put all her stuff there..."Maam,Rudra Sir aapko bula rahe hai.." said the peon..."Ok...aap chaliye...mai aati hoon..."replied Arohi...

Arjun entered the office in his brand new farrari...His new car and stylish appearence was enough to turn many employe's heads..He had taken extra care in his appearence today...

Reaching the second floor he went straight towards Arohi's desk...only to see it empty..."shayad kam se gayi hogi"..he thought and started looking around her desk...There were no family photographs or frames over there...something unusual...other than pens,calculator,laptop and files there was nothing...making the desk look dull...Arjun frowned...
"Sir"...the words startled him...he looked behing to see Arohi..a small smile gracing her lips..."Aap kuch dhoond rahe the?"she asked...Arjun cleared his throat..."Umm...no Arohi...mai bus..tumhare liye wait kar raha tha..."
"Oh sorry...mujhe Rudra sir ne bulaya tha...unhone mujhe kaha hai ki mai aapko company ki nayi projects ke bare mai info de du..."...Arjun nodded...he waited for sometime...for any compliment...to start things he complimented "Arohi...tum bohot acchi lag rahi ho.."...Arohi smiled.."Thank you Sir"...Arjun waited some more but still...no compliment...

Man!!he had goten ready for half an hour...Didn't she notice how hot he was looking??he wondered...getting impatient he promptly asked-"And how do I look??"Arohi turned towards and and said nodding her head "Good Sir.."
"Itna papar belne ke baad bhi sirf good"thought Arjun...

"Ok sir...lets start"said Arohi...taking a seat beside him...and started explaining him the project...but Arjun was busy in staring at her...noticing her sharp features.her soft lips moving smoothly...her mysterious eyes ...and a scar on her left wrist...

"So sir...you understood??"asked Arohi...but looking at Arjun's big eyes and blank expression she got that he hadn't.."Sir you need to concentrate..."she said..."Vohi toh karne ki koshish kar raha hoon " mumbled Arjun..."Sir I think Mr.Sharma aapko mujhse better samjayenge"she started but was quickly cut off by Arjun.."Nahi Arohi...mai uss uncle ke pass nahi jaunga...you start again...iss baar mai pakka samajh jaunga.."Said Arjun...and true to his words he did concentrate..Arohi explained to him every detail of the project...making use of her hands and equipments around...

"Toh...you understood??"asked Arohi..."Yes.."said Arjun ...excitedly ...he was amazed that he had actually understood the whole concept..."issi khushi mai coffee peene chale?" Arjun was about to ask..but Arohi cut him off...she looked at her watch and said"Sir...meeting ka time hogya hai...maine aapko jis project ke bare mai samjhaya uska contract aaj sign hone vala hai and Rudra sir wants you to be there...unhne mujhe yeh baat aapko pehele batane se mana kiya tha...unko laga aap mana kar denge..."Arjun sighed and thought miserably "yeh mere dad achanak mere pyaar ka dushman kyu ban rahe hai??"...

Arjun got out of the meeting room looking unusually happy..He thought back to the incident of the meeting room where his dad looked so happy seeing him taking interest in the family business...Arjun smiled..."MOm sahi kehti hai...its time that I take some responsibilities...But abhi...let me concentrate on mission larki patao.."He thought and walked towards his car in the garage...sitting in he waited for Arohi to come out of the office builing...working hours were over and she would be out any moment...watching her come out of the building..he started getting out of his car to offer her lift but saw her walking to her own car in the corner of the garage,

."Kya yaar...saari ffs mai to Arohi's bus ya cab se jaati hai...meri hi kismat mai yeh car wali Arohi thi...abh to lift ka bahana bhi gaya.."he thought and drove off to his house...

Adjusting her rear viw mirror Arohi looked at Arjun;s car disappearing ..."Vo mere liye wait kar raha tha...matlab plan kam kar raha hai"she mumbled and drove off...

In the house she was welcomed by darkness.as usual...She felt his presence beside her...she stood still...

"Property ke papers ka kuch pata chala??" came the firm voice...Arvind Mehta turned around and stared at her...his stature was small yet there was an aura of power around him...

Arohi stood still..."Nahi sir..."she said quitely...that was enough to infuriate him as he strode towards her and held her shoulders in a tight grip...
"Toh kab pata chalega???tum plan follow bhi kar rahi ho ya nahi???Yaad rakho hum sirf Arjun pe bharosa karke wait nahi kar sakte...hume khud bhi aage barna hoga"He said shaking her...Arohi turned her head beside and looked at Samir...for help but he turned his face...

"1 hafte ke andar mujhe property ke papers chahiye nahi to tum zinda nahi bachogi..."He said giving his final verdict and left the place...
"Don't worry...mujhe yakeen hai tum yeh kaam zarur kar paogi..."Said Samir slipping an arm around het waist..."so...what say...aaj raat kahi bahar chale..."Arohi looked into his handsome face and then into his eyes...she sighed in disappointment noticing nothing but lust there...pushing him away softly she walked out...feeling humiliated once again...
