so gauri is the assassin? she doesn't stand a speck of a chance with arjun! arjun had always known she was not good from the time arohi went against him... he is too smart for her! but i couldn't refute that she has an evil brain and that she is quite smart too...i want to know how arjun and rashi will react to gauri's bail by mikhail... probably arjun will strangle him to death... now arjun would be worried about arohi as there are chances that gauri will go after her and arohi will be worried for arjun... and i guess rajveer will have an urge to look out for rashi... but i think rashi will handle herself quite well!raj has done what he does best! :) i love him! finally arjun and arohi have to be civil to each other! ;) arjun misses arohi a lot... and in the morning he had a calmness in his eyes... ;) of course he had! you see my over optimist brain started speculating again joining dots... ;)

Arjun was pacing the floor in his room. The past half hour was like a blur to him. It would make one feel that it was a dream… or rather a nightmare. What he had thought and what had just happened made him wonder if he has been sleeping for days and just got up. That's how disoriented he felt!!!
He had had a few questions. The most important being, even if Raj wants to spend the day with him and Arohi, a) Arohi may or maynot be free, and b) she maynot want to meet Arjun. So considering these hinderances, Raj should rethink about his demands and give sometime to check with Arohi on this. That way even she will be mentally prepared, and Arjun too can plan how he will be potraying himself. Thoroughly convinced and satisfied with his argument he had walked up to Raj and explained him in the nicest way possible.
But his son had not even blinked an eyelid. Raj had taken his hand and dragged him to his Rashi mom's room. There HIS Rashi mom, after hearing out the issue, had called up HER "friend" Lovedeep Ahluwalia. Arjun had watched with his mouth open as his di spoke to love and what looked like was telling her to make Raj's wish possible. After speaking for several minutes, Rashi hung up the phone and had turned to them with a blank face and asked him if he could forsee anymore problems. Arjun stared at his sister in awe. Was this his same Rashi di? The only sweet innocent vulnerable Singhania he had known??? Standing with her hands across her chest and and determination in her eyes, she definitely did not look vulnerable. Her entire stance shouted out that she meant business and will not accept any nonsense from him. This was about Raj and she would make sure that he got the birthday gift he wanted.
Arjun had just shook his head in negation to her question, words were stuck in his throat as he had lost the ability to speak. Raj had once again taken his hand and dragged him back in his room. Arjuns mind was numb enough to decipher anything that was happening. Only after Raj left him in his room and shut the door, did he come out of his trance and start repeating what happened in his mind.
Was there some secret army operating in his house that he was unaware of??? Rashi and Raj were clearly together in this, which means that dadi had to be a part of it. Was Romit with them too? When did Rashi and Lovedeep become friends??? Does that mean even Sanchit is involved? Or for that matter even Arohi???? Arjuns eyes hardened at the thought that he was been played all along by Arohi and her hare-brained plots. Anger started building in his body at the mere speculation of it. But then it was not possible. If this was master minded by Arohi then Rashi would not have to call Lovedeep and ask her to make sure Arohi knows and can make it. He relaxed a bit with the logical explaination. However, whatever happened just now had left him flustered. But he did not have time for that now. He had to plan tomorrows day and prepare himself for any unexpected and uncomfortable situations that may crop up tomorrow.

"Mein jaanti hoon. Ye uska pehla birthday hai… I mean uss ghar mein. Aur mein usske saath nahi hoon." Love could make out the helplessness in Arohi's voice. She knew that Arohi remembered Raj's birthday and wanted to wish him, but she was skeptical and not sure if she could.
"Hmm… Waise mujhe Rashi ka phone aaya tha. Aur ussne kaha ki Raj tujhse milna chahta hai, as a birthday gift. Aur Rashi usse wo gift dena chahti hain. Toh mein ussko haan kehdu?"
Arohis eyes widened in surprise and her mouth opened in shock. Her son had wished to meet her? As his birthday gift? Her eyes misted as she realised how much he must be missing her, much more than she misses him. Unable to speak, she nodded her head in approval and smiled. Lovedeep immediately picked up the phone and called Rashi confirming her Arohis approval.
Arohi stared at her bua. "Aapke paas Rashi ka number kaise aaya? I mean aap dono… "
"Woh… Uss din mein hospital gayi thi bauji ko dekhne tab Rashi mili thi mujhe. Humne thodi bohat baatein ki and we exchanged numbers. Badi achhi ladki hai… Pata nai ussi ke saath aisa kyu hona tha."
"I know bua. Shes really sweet. Im sure mere absence mein wohi Raj ka dhyaan rakhti hogi. Lekin bua ghar waalon ne mana kar diya kal ke liye toh?"
"Woh mana tab karenge jab hum unhe batayenge!"
"Hawww…!" Arohis mouth opened in an "O". "Jhooth bolke jaau mein? Nai mein jhooth nahi bolsakti." Arohi shook her head and crossed her hands across her chest.
Lovedeep rolled her eyes. "O harishchandra ki chhati aulaad! Jhooth bolne ko kaun kehraha hai? Hum bas sach choopayenge. Raj se milna hai ki nai???"
Arohi became thoughtful again. She slowly nodded her head. Atlast she would be meeting her son. And most importantly without Arjun, that was a relief. She needed to be alone with Raj. Not only because it had been a long time she had seen him, but also because she could be herself and enjoy every moment to the fullest. She could not wait to plan what all they would do tomorrow!!! She would take him to the park, movies, birthday lunch, buy him toys and gifts. Her smile widened at the thought of spending the day tomorrow with the apple of her eye.
"Lekin bua… Mein ghar pe kya kahungi???"
"Arre, kya kahungi matlab? Kal to humey wo shaadi ke venue pe jaana tha na, sab finalise karne ke liye. Keh denge wahi jaarahe hain. Wahase tu chali jaana Raj se milne, aur wahi waapas aana. Fir hum dono ghar aajayenge. Kal ke din mein akele sambhal lungi, tu fikar mat kar."
Arohi smiled and walked away to the kitchen. She was already feeling rejuvenated. Tomorrow was going to be a special day.
Lovedeep stared at Arohis back and grinned devilishly. She had purposely kept the small detail hidden from Arohi, that Arjun will be joining them. Shefali had told her about their rendezvous in the mall. There had been an initial spark in their eyes before the glaring and fighting had started. When she was to meet Arjun in the court too, she had prepared herself for the face off and had become silent much before leaving the house. She needed to be herself to show her feelings to Arjun, before she slips back the mask of indifference. And once Arjun comes to know that Arohi still loves him, then he would definitely put a step forward to win her back. Lovedeep was pretty sure of it.

"Aur sunn… Un dono ko jhagda mat karne dena. Jaise hi woh jhagda karne lagey tu rone lagg jana. Thik hai?" Dadi turned Raj towards her and adviced.
"Aur agar Bro gussa hogaye, to koi purani loving memory yaad kara dena unhe. So that unka gussa thanda hojaye." Romit turned Raj to face him.
"Idhar dekho Raj!" Rashi pulled Raj by his shoulders, as she continued straightening his jacket and gelling his hair.
"Aur haan. Agar woh sade mooh wala meri bahu ko tang karey to mera naam leke usse chupp kara dena. Waise bhi woh jaanta hai ki tu mera chamcha hai." Dadi held Raj's face and looked at him.
"No no dadi. Ye dhamki wamki se bro aur bhi bhadak jaate hain. Pata nahi Raj ka kya haal karde."
Dadi straightened up and glared at Romit. "Arre kuch nahi hoga. Usski himmat jo Raj ko uske birthday pe kuch bole. Aur Arohi bhi toh hogi waha. Woh Arjun ko aisa kuch karne nahi degi."
Rashi smiled at this whole chaos. Her room looked like a green room of a drama company, where people were getting ready and rehersing their dialogues. Raj had a totally confused look on his face as he looked from his dadi to his chachu to her. Poor thing, it was his birthday and there was so much pressure on him. She finished combing his hair and smiled at him.
"Don't worry Raj. Mein hu na tumhare saath. Mein jaanti hu ki tum sab sambhaal loge. Bas itna yaad rakhna ki jab tak Arjun nahi aajata, Arohi ko pata nahi chalna chahiye ki woh bhi aaraha hai. Ok?"
Raj nodded at her. "Mein apne liye worry nahi karraha hu mom no 2. Mujhe to inn dono ki chinta ho rahi hai. Pata nahi hamare wapas aane tak inka kya haal hua hoga. Ye toh abhi se itne ank… ank… woh kya kehte hain? Koi difficult word hain. Jisme insaan kisi cheez ko leke bohat worry karta hai."
"Anxious." Rashi giggled looking at dadi and Romits thunderous faces.
"Haan wohi." Turning to Dadi and Romit he smiled. "Don't worry. I will try my best ki aaj ka din unn dono ke liye special ho." Holding Rashi's hand, he waved a goodbye to both of them and walked out.
Dadi stared at the door fondly. "Kitni himmat hai iss chhote bachhe mein. Aur samajh bhi. Lekin usske bevkoof maa-baap mein aadhi akal bhi nahi hai. Waise to Raj ka aur hamara khoon ka rishta nahi hai, lekin usse dekh ke lagta nahi ki woh Singhania nahi hai."
"Hmm…" Romit agreed thoughtfully.
"Mera to iss baat se vishwas hi uth gaya hai ki apne toh apne hota hain. Ek ye mera parpota hai, jo bas kuch mahino se hamare saath reh raha hai, leking fir bhi sabko baandhe huey hai. Aur ek taraf mere baaki ke potey."
"Hmm…" Romit responded. Suddenly realising what his dadi said, he snapped his head in her direction. "Matlab? Humme kya problem hai?"
"Ek ho to batao! Problem hi problems hai. Ek woh hai sade mooh waala… Aur ek tu, baal ki dukaan."
"Aur Mikhail bro???" Romit asked. Was his dadi hinting that Mikhail was better than both of them?
"Usska toh tu naam bhi mat le. Usse dekhke to mujhe shak hota hai ki kya yeh sachme merihi nasal ki fasal hai??!!!"
Romit looked shocked as dadi strode away to her room, to find peace in her pooja till Raj comes back in the evening.

Arohi was a nervous wreck. She was twisting her fingers, staring at the door and then looking down disappointed. After she looked out of the window for like the millionth time, lovedeep held her hands, assuring her to be patient. It had been just a little over 10 minutes that they were waiting in the caf for Rashi and Raj, but it felt like more than an hour to Arohi. She was getting restless as every minute passed. She did not know what to expect. If Raj started crying seeing her, then would not be able to hold back. If he acted aloof and indifferent, she would break down. If he looked sad and forlon because he missed her then it would break her heart. In short, she was going to be a bawling mess in a few minutes. It was his birthday and she did not want to ruin it for him. She promised herself that no matter what, she would do anything that Raj wants and make this birthday memorable for him.
"MOOOMMM!!!" Raj screamed as soon as he entered the caf and spotted Arohi.
The entire caf turned around and watched as Raj ran from the door and hauled himself in his moms arms. Arohi bent down to pick up her son. "Happy Birthday Raj." She kissed his cheek, crying and laughing at the same time.
Rashi and Lovedeep smiled at each other as they slid in the booth after making the mom and son comfortable. Raj sat in Arohi's lap, hugging her, as if he would never let go. Arohi held him as tight as possible, laughing and kissing the top of his head.
"Oye… Ab tum maa bete ka 'bharat milaap' hogaya ho to aage ka soche."
Everyone smiled as Lovedeep continued looking at the two people in front of her with love.
"Haan Arohi. Tumhare paas aajka poora din hain. Tum dono jaao, mein aur love yahi tumhara intezaar karenge."
"Ok." Arohi held Raj's hand and helped him out of the booth. She walked with him to the door and turned around. She had a smile on her face which conveyed how much thankful she was to these two women. Love and Rashi smiled in acknowledgement and pointed their eyes towards the door, telling her to go ahead. Arohi turned around and walked out with her son. She did not know when and how had Love and Rashi become friends. But she was happy at this development. These were two of the most intelligent, strong and admirable women she knew, and them being friends just made it so much better, for them, and for her too.
